General Mulligans
There are a ton of early game options for mulligans, these are the cards I try to go for.
This is a deck that I have been using during this early period after the expansion, while the meta continues to develop. I have some pretty good success with it, going 16-6. Most of the card synergise quite well with each other. Obviously it needs some refinement, but it has been a very fun deck to play with.
Shadowcaster always seems to impress me with how well it can be used. I try to keep Shadowcaster in my hand till the late game (8-10 mana turns). This is because you can drop it alongside with Xaril, Reno, or possibly Doomcaller to get C’thun back in your deck. Games tend to be quite long, so Doomcaller helps prevent a turn of fatigue damage once you draw through the entire deck. I have a few games where I end up dropping 3 Reno’s or 3-4 Xaril’s, which is always pretty fun. Shadowcaster has so much potential, it is such a dirty card.
