Mulligans

General Mulligans

You want 1, 2, and 3 drops asap. But you need to figure out if they will survive what the opponent is playing, and mulligan based on how many you can defend.

Felguard I made this deck like Zoolock. But I changed a few cards to deal with decks who have too much removal. Most of the time you want to go face with your small minions and find a taunt to keep them alive. Felgaurd is very under valued. You have to judge based on the board and your hand size when it is safe to play felguard. Usually playing it on curve is bad. Try to run your hand out of cards and not tap until your hand is empty, so you can use Doomguard and Soulfire without penalty.

I made this deck because I just didn’t have enough dust to deal with all the nerfs breaking my previous decks. I added Gul’dan much later, and almost never get to use him. Originally Gul’dan was replacing an Acidic Swamp Ooze, which actually had the same or better win rate.

Removing Gul’dan and putting the Ooze back in keeps the deck under 2000 dust. But I really wanted to just enjoy playing Gul’dan for a change so I crafted him for fun, and he can really blow out games that run long. You will have your own luck and play style, but at the time I’m writing this, my win rate is 62 wins and 12 losses over two days. I haven’t played in a long while, soI did play against low rank players but they were pretty much all netdecking, so I figure even against not as experienced opponents, 74 games is a fair sample size. If you find good results for yourself, then great. I just wanted something I could play without spending 10k dust from scratch again, so except for Gul’dan I just used cards I had on hand. I got 50 wins 7 losses before I decided I wanted to try Gul’dan for fun.
