Mulligans
General Mulligans
Jade Idol is good to mulligan for, to push that early tempo and make your Jades bigger. Wrath is a good choice as it is very flexible, early board control and digging for important cards. Wild Growth for early ramp to hit the combo. Jade Blossom to stack Jades and gain mana (this is very good combined with Jade Idol if you are going second, make a Jade golem turn one and coin out the Jade blossom on turn 2.) Jade Spirits are seldom played in Jade decks because they are weak for tempo, but with this Combo Jade deck it is very strong to ramp up Jades since you can do it almost every turn. Twig, so you can start using its durability early to hit the combo as soon as turn 10. The Spellstones are great to mulligan for if you can’t find any Jades. They provide easy and cheap early game board clear so you can dig for Jade card, and scale well into the late game with “Earthen Scales”. Loot Hoarder for early game damage and card draw to dig for the important cards in the deck.
This deck is a spin off of the “Jade Druid” deck that has been very very popular. With this deck you still follow the classic Jade build up strategy, but in the late game you have some crazy combos. The main combo of this deck is to use the “Twig of the World Tree” in combination with the “Gadgetzan Auctioneer” and “Fandral Staghelm” to spend a whole turn filling your entire board up with Jades, while also shuffling into your deck. If you get the Twig early on, keep it. Don’t mulligan the card, you want to play it as soon as possible and get it down to 1 durability. Once turn 10 hits, play Auctioneed and Fandral, then break the Twig, refreshing your mana. Once you do this you can spam Jade Idols and if you end up drawing a card that isn’t a Jade idol, and your hand has none, just play some of the other 1 cost spells in the deck to mill through and get that Jade Idol.
