Budget Demon Hunter – Legend (EU)

Please welcome my Budget Demon Hunter deck which has successfully driven me to legend in the Standard meta. I have decided not to craft any cards for Demon Hunter yet as it seems that there is a high possibility that more nerfs are coming in the near future.

However, despite the fact I haven’t crafted any epic or legendary card, it really is competitive which is proved by reaching Legend rank in Europe. I’ve won like 8 or 9 matches in a row playing against almost all kind of decks (Galakrond Warlock, Spell Druid, Spell Mage, Highlander Rogue, Tempo DH, Priest, Galakrond Warrior). I haven’t faced any Paladin or Shaman, so please comment how this deck does against these two, really curious.

The key of the deck is to start strong, winning the board, and crucial to use Mana Burn in the right moment, so your opponent, practically, loses his turn. It really has a great synergy combining Mana Burn with Raging Felscreamer and, on the next turn, Priestess of Fury.

Furthermore, I had many doubts about adding Imprisoned Antaen instead of second Frenzied Felwing, but this guy’s been crucial to win a lot of tough matches against Galakrond Warlock. Probably, another controversial card is Inner Demon, but it really is key to finish a game as I don’t have Metamorphosis. Please comment if switching these two has a positive impact on the deck or it doesn’t. Coilfang Warlord may also raise questions, but it helped me several times to remove a taunt and to keep a strong minion on the board afterwards.

Finally, I was thinking about crafting Kayn Sunfury, but, honestly, I don’t consider it a key one. Those who do have this card, please comment whether it does make a difference for you.

In conclusion, it really is a cool deck to play. Absolutely no need to spend dust, which gave me a double satisfaction when reached a Legend rank.
