Pretty bad since the nerf hit it. Demon Hunter has a lot of elbow space on turn 6, and just a single Imprisoned Antaen that does nothing until turn 8 isn’t very good. If you’re looking for a single card to play on turn 6, I’d say go with Gul’dan’s Skull. 3/5.

Another insanely overrated card. Hello. HS is about tempo. Five mana do nothing is essentially suicide.

OP card with no way to disable it’s “awakening”.
gonna be nerfed soon I think. change it to “among all enemy minions”

shit, 10 damage to the face on turn 7. ouch

On second thought, its even better, imagine you are facing this activate next turn. What you do? do nothing a get up to to ten to the face, or just play minions to let tem die for nothing… in turn 6 there is little chance you could play more than 10 health of minions…

ANd i dont think the “only minions” will be a nerf… more a buff, because the way it is now gives you a chance to keep your minions alive by getting some dmg to the face, much like cinder storm and arcane missiles

It’s not bad. We saw what Reno can do, so I’m sure that Imprisoned Antaen will be MINIMUM 3 stars at worst-case scenario. I’m giving it 4 though, just becuase it looks like Antaen just wants to Smorc and that’s about it.

Ultra slow card, but packs quite a punch so maybe could see play. If played on 5 and survived till 7, this is like a win the game card, returns massive damage/tempo play on t7

it can’t be destroyed until it awakens, so it will always survive until turn 7 if played on turn 5, unless your hero dies before then, obviously.

It doesn’t have charge. It can’t attack on turn 7.

This card looks powerful but it won’t appear till turn 7 and can’t attack till turn 8 so playing it turn 5 would require your in a position of control during that turn already. This card is a lot better when pulled out or cheated onto the field by another card effect.

Of course with all these dormant cards I’m getting worried about evolve shaman now nothing sucked more than evolving into the darkness since couldn’t interact with it at all. But now shaman has all these useful dormants that will wake up on their own and then pact the board.

The one demon can pull this from your deck at the end of turn. Surely better than the two other dormant cards that have been revealed. Seems like this will see play.

Do these cards start dormant even if they’re resurrected/summoned from deck/not played from hand?

Like if you use that new Demon Hunter minion to summon this guy from your deck, will it come out dormant or as a 10/6 with no ability?

i would assume so since its not a battlecry
with the darkness if you get it from evolve mechanics then it starts dormant

this look very strong; clear the opponent board and/or deal up to 10 damage to face… but a bit slow at the same time since it doesn’t do anything for 2 turn for 5 mana

    This feels ridiculously strong

Well Demon Hunter doesn’t have a lot of cards to start with unlike all the other class card over the years, so it make sense to give him some powerful cards, look at Reno

I don’t get how the 2 turns work with dormant. Say you play it on turn 5 then you end your turn. Then your opp has their turn. Then you have your turn again. Then does it awaken at the start of your opponents next turn?

I think if you play it on turn 7, it will activate on your turn 7. Probably it can attack then also.

Play it on turn 5 and it will activate at the start of your turn 7

Not sure if you will be able to attack with it that turn or not (previous Dormant cards like Sherazin and Lucentbark were not able to attack the turn they awakened)
