General Mulligans
Always keep:Bazaar Burglary: Once you get hero power, it helps you favorably trade into powerful minions making you much harder to kill, as well as increasing pressure to face. Always keep quest.
Questing Explorer: Card Draw immensely helps you get to your card generation and other resources. Keep Questing at all costs.
Shadowjeweler Hanar: A great T2 play if you don't already have Questing explore and/or you have a secret in hand.
Dragon's Hoard: Quickly speeds up quest progress and gives you a high value minion that can help with basically every matchup.
Situational picks:
Keep Backstab against Demon Hunters, it will quickly kill Battlemage or Battlefiend and slow down their aggression.
Keep Vendetta if you have Dragon's Hoard, Hench-Clan, or Bazaar in hand. It helps against hunters or other <5 health priority targets (Phase Stalker being the main one.)
Keep Frozen Shadoweaver against Demon Hunter for obvious reasons.
Recently I started a smurf account to test out this deck concept in mind. And uh, it works REALLY well! There’s only a few poor match-ups that I’ll highlight here.
Pure SMORC Demon Hunter is a bit difficult, but this decklist has been tailored to help with that (Bone Wraiths, Khartut, backstab, and Frozen Shadoweaver all help quite a bit with that decklist specifically.) If the prescence of that deck ever decreases, you can go more greedy with the decklist.
Rez Priest is difficult however, the only suggestion I’d say is to add in some Owls, and more early game aggression (maybe a small stealth package?)
