You should always keep Jaina. The only time you might want not too is against an aggressive deck, but you will often draw a board clear to wipe before turn 5/6 and getting the water elementals as early as possible is essential.

Tar creeper helps to survive the early game before you can board clear and can s be tometimes be difference between winning vs losing against an aggro deck.

Phoenix helps slow aggressive and midrange decks by making key picks and placing a minion on the board.

Dragons fury is a fantastic counter against call to arms and should always be kept against a paladin.

Ravens familiar has a similar role to that of tar creeper. It can make trades on board whilst providing you with a big spell for a board clear mid game to help survive aggressive decks.

This deck is mainly for fun but I have had a lot of success on ladder so thought I’d share. Been finding a lot of the meta decks really boring and wanted to mix it up without losing most of my games.

Can struggle against quest warrior and taunt druid but excels against spiteful druid/priest and aggro/midrange if you can survive the first few rounds until a board clear.

Card draw never seems to be an issue but one could consider adding card draw spells, but this could result in low roll dragon’s fury.

Shimmering tempest is optional but allows you to play minions early game with spells to help, and for late game they are an easy 5 mana 3/6 water elemental + free spell.

Voodoo doll prevents a low roll dragon’s fury from a polymorph and still allows you to gain an easy water elemental with Jaina.

(Many of the elementals can be swapped out if you do not have them or prefer something else. This deck is very flexible and is simply the deck that I run. Meteor and Alaina could be good options for example, as well as Pyros)
