Actually, this plays like a Quest Shaman with Murloc package. Evolve and Desert Hare are hail mary cards and can be replaced with 2 MCT and 2 Murlocs (most likely Warleaders), I just haven’t tested.
I have tried replacing 1 Evolve and both Hares for 1 MCT and 2 Fishflinger, with ok results.
Makes enough sense to me. I feel with the way standard and sheer possible potential of evolve even in this deck it would make sense to absolutely keep both evolves, but personally I barely play standard.
I do like the possibilities of plague of murlocs here.
I like it too, but 2 copies seemed excessive. If dropping Hare, it makes sense to drop Evolve- you don’t want to mess up your Murloc package.
Although I’m biased- Boomsday Murloc Mage was my favorite Mage deck.
