Hello, my name is Mathelegna and I present you my Aggro Warrior deck based on Pirates and Weapons. I’m calling this deck “Low-Cost” because it is composed of only common and rare cards, except for two legendaries (including one from an adventure) that are replacable.

The main goal of this deck is obviously to direcly and quickly lower down your opponent’s health with your Weapons, buffed by Upgrade! and Bloodsail Cultist, and buffing your pirates such as Southsea DeckhandBloodsail Raider and Dread Corsair. You will finally burst down your opponent with Mortal Strike or any of your charging minions, such as Argent HorseriderKor'kron Elite and our best friend Leeeeeroy Jenkins.

IMPORTANT CARDS :

  • Sir Finley Mrrgglton : As usual in aggro decks, you are looking for the following Hero Powers : Warlock>Hunter>Mage>Druid.
  • Heroic Strike : Used as a burst finisher or to get rid of annoying minions.
  • Faerie Dragon : Does not have any link with Weapons, Pirates or aggressivity, but is just a very good turn-2 for board control.
  • Frothing Berserker : Same thing as Faerie Dragon for turn-3, but can also become a real burst-potential when buffed.
  • Mortal Strike : Used to finish the game and burst or to get rid of annoying minions without taking damage.
  • Leeeeeroy Jenkins : Huge finisher and perfect for top-decks or BMing.

IMPORTANT TIPS :

  • Really do not hesitate to face with your weapons : it is the point of this deck.
  • The attack-buff provided by Heroic Strike on a weapon does not have any effect on the attack of Bloodsail Raider nor the mana cost of Dread Corsair.
  • Whenever you are losing, do not greed for any of the effects provided by your cards (Weapon-buffs by your Pirates, 6-damage Mortal Strike, …), but use them to take control of the board.
  • This may sound stupid, but it is a common-made mistake that you probably already made : remember that your hero can only attack once in a turn ! Play all your attack-buffs on your Weapon before attacking.

REPLACABLE CARDS :

If you do not have the legendaries from this deck or some of the other cards, here are some alternative cards :

  • Any drawing-mechanic card, for example Battle Rage.
  • Any burst-potential or charging card, for example Abusive Sergeant.
  • Any Pirate !

MATCHUPS :

  • You usually are faster than many Aggro decks. Your advantage on them is board control with your Pirates and Weapons. Your main goal against Aggro deck is to keep board advantage even if it means losing a bit of health by hitting minions with your weapons. Whenever you have board control, you will overflow your opponent quickly.
  • Against Mid or Control decks, your goal is to use all your cards at their full potential to finish the game before turn 7-8. You have no drawing effect in your deck, so each card you will play is essential : play around your opponent’s AOEs and spells to burst him down as fast as possible.

What I like about this deck is that it can beat all kinds of decks, especially Shaman, and is rather easy and quick to play. I hope that you will have fun playing with my deck.

I also saw that my two first decks are at the top of the community decks, so I wanted to thank you all. Rate this deck and do not hesitate to leave a comment !
