Mulligans

General Mulligans

These are the cards in the deck meant to help with aggro decks and slow the game down for you and Jaina is just good to have in hand for turn 9.

Combo Mulligans

Very important to get card draw from your Coldwraiths.

This deck was my solution to the Apprentice/Mirror Reflection/Infinite Fireball combo so many mages I come across like to use. SpellBender steals a copy of apprentice and suddenly it’s not infinite anymore, use Blizzard and clear/freeze whatever is on the board, renew Iceblock if necessary.

Now, as I’ve been testing the deck it seems to be pretty solid.  The Golakka Crawlers are there to keep to help combat pirate aggro decks and of course, there are multiple freezes and cards that synergize with that effect as well.

Skulking Geist is there to prevent Infinite Jade from those decks.

Medivh is nice and helps conjure creatures in the later game, but I wouldn’t consider him an absolute necessity.

Jaina is pretty much mandatory as she is capable of carrying you deeper into the game than you’d otherwise be able to do.

The Benders are very useful no matter who you play as they will eat up removal, steal buffs and or debuffs.
