There is aggro murloc pally, mid range murloc pally, mid range pally (silver hand combo), control pally, and nzoth pally.. Between those plenty of variation – those are the archetypes I can think of off the top of my head.

Wild pyro equality combo and doomsayers would be control plays.

oh hey, thanks for the reply.. yea I have since put together a very solid Pally deck.. thing works well… of course there are some bad match ups, checking my stats it’s 58% winrate with 35 games. it has had 6 tweeks(versions) since the original deck.

and I just checkd this list… amazing to find I have come back to a very similar list on my own, I’ve tried several things out and feel confident in saying, the shell of this deck is solid. Looking at the list there’s only two card changes, and I’ve had at one point as many as 6 different cards.

normally you can attribute patterns to bad plays, and stats back it up, but looking at the replays of multiple games with various builds.. it’s seriously like a sign, I mean I had to post that game, it was the most redic after trying yet another build. I’ll revist pally again later… been having good fun with mage and it’s done well in tourney.

the guide clearly states the deck is an “anti-aggro” list…

yet you comment that you’re losing against control deck… It’s known to anyone who can comprehend the article above that the deck doesn’t do well against control.

made the deck, first match que, mircle/tempo rogue, dead turn 7, had answer for everything.

me: aldor peacekeeper on razor lasher only turn 3 play I have

• fan of knives and patches into aldor PK, plays southsea deckhand, I’m now at 20 health

me: only play is noble sac and warleader or gentlemegasuar.. playing two cards for more presence option over singular megasuar

• swashburgler catches noble Sac, swashburgler into warleader followed by last hero power pwr charge, hit with 1/2 razor lasher, my health is now 19 he drops sherizhan (must be a miracle, few tempo rogue use that card)

me: megasaur, only play I can make, not able to do anything with equals, rag, spikeridge steed

• sherizan into megasuar, drops xaril, razor lasher and hero power, health now at 18

me: hero power and equality, can’t do anything with rag, equal and spike ridge in hand

• Acutioneer, fadeleaf toxin to stealth auctineer, last charge hero power into silverhand, razor lasher and xaril into face health now at 14

me: hydrologist topdeck, getaway kodo only good pick, hero power, still can’t do anything with rest of hand

• rzor lasher to face (no doubt to test for noble sac, razor petal face, health at 12 now, cold blood auctioneer .. game.

… doesn’t appear to do well against rogue.

How do we measure IQ, it seems subjective… as the seemingly endless low IQ that drifts unto this website would indicate the demise of the human civilization if they were to breed. Which is really sad for the hard work, time to write up such great guides, and articles on this site… just to have people, IMO, troll.. questions that are clearly answered in the article they have spent so much time crafting.

I’m testing a couple of swaps thoughts on it welcome.

• novice engineer instead of loot hoarder
• coldlight instead of acolyte

• difficulty with priest matchups, the rare quest priest is particularly well suited.. thoughts on those match ups.

subbed out mana tide for Spirit Echo… going to give this deck a try.

When looking at the deck how it’s built the mana tide seems like it was thrown in after thought to get the draw, but doesn’t really fit with the deck as well.. at most the flame tongue.

With spirit echo, you will add elementals back to your hand so it’s like draw, in a sense. and getting additional Hotsprings, servant of Kali, or any other of the elementals is solid potential.

If you don’t have Elise, ether Wickerflame or Stand against Darkness could be decent replacements…

I saw some of this stream today, when he hit Rank 5.. deck looks good, I tested it and it works well, I still like my own version of elemental jade, which has more of the jades like this deck, rather than the full in elemental that most have changed over too. I dunno why someone down voted it.. the deck is pretty good, it does play different and you need a bit of intelligence to play it right. Love this site and all the work done, but there has been so many idiots and trolls appearing…

anyone have stats on how this performs against quest mage (both versions) and it’s a Miracle (it just doesn’t die from the meta) Rogue?

I had a similar list based off of Trump’s… I don’t have or use Elise, so I’m using Alex for not just another 8/8 body but her unique effect useful both defensively and offensively. I have altered my list dropping a second siphon soul (spot removal) for instead a second hellfire like the list posted here, I think the additional AOE is needed in some match ups.

I just typed up some brief explanation, it’s using a shell of Brain’s deck here.

I have a deck that has a shell of what this deck is but far better end product.. kibler had just scratched the surface with this deck and actually led to me making a very fun and yet competitive deck.. I’m at an over 80% win rate but hey it’s only been 20 games so I’m sure that stat will normalize after enough games.. plus so much room to tweek it further..( I’m excited for the possibilities of the new year and expansion.. there are much more possibilities now that many cards are rotating out).. there are cards you would normally skip over but because of their synergy and getting buffed they play for insane value. I’ll post it up.
