so I made it into a Reno deck… it’s fun.

so the Reno adaption of this deck, adds two dead pulls (Barnes) in Acidic Swamp Oooze and Reno Jackson… so could find another spell to add instead of Ooze. I’ve already pulled Reno with Barnes so that was rather suck. but last match it pulled a good one as intended.. Fire Rag ftw!

looks interesting, might alter my old list to give it a try, I still havn’t adopted IK into my old list yet.

you know what really came to mind when looking over that list was all the 1 of’s. you could easily turn that into a sick Reno deck.

Don’t have Bloodmage Thalnos, sub’d in Ancestral Knowledge… Thoughts on this?
-I just crafted Ragnaros FIRElord.. so hesitant to spend the last of my dust (on Thalnos) till the rest of Kharazan adventure is deployed and the meta gets a shake.

Third match was a mid-range hunter, it too was a loss. The addition of tundra rhino allowed the opponent to close out the game.

wow what an odd sample..
1. ghey priest –> loss, fatigue
2. Dragon Priest –> loss, better combo, tempo, healing minions
3. Mid-Range Hunter –> loss, better tempo, burst damage

This deck seems like it could be fun, like it could do well, but it may not be the best to ladder with.

second match another loss to priest on ladder!? this time a dragon priest… this deck doesn’t perform well against priest -_-

so a single match down… and in the amount of time it takes to do 2-3 matches, I get a priest that went to fatigue… smh the most ridiculous win condition, it’s no win condition… other mid-range decks would have smashed that match. I’ll play this deck a couple more times and make another report. Overall the deck works really well! – looking at the positive side of things to playing out the entire deck, there weren’t really any ‘dead’ turns and it curves out well.

other’s have already mentioned potential swaps… so here are the replacements I’ve included and will come back to remark on how the deck fairs in the ~Rank 10 area of ladder.

Thanks for posting up these ‘low level’ decks for newer players! I would only ask that with your f2p decks that you post to include reasons why you include, the thought process would help new players gain a better understanding faster. +1

so main differences I’m seeing in C’Thun Warrior – Slam, Revenge, GoreHowl, Beckoner, Acolyte (1 or 2), Crazed Worshipper.
breaking it down
Slam = some like it some don’t. you can use it to finish off but then you lose the card draw… it’s in there for card draw right?
revenge.. activate the acolytes, aoe on tokens, kinda like adding in a third ravaging effect (whirlwind)
Gorehowl burst to face, remove some minions… hmm I like it!
Beckoner, well it gets you that extra buff and it’s a two drop
acolyte, kinda sucks but the card draw is nice – would be real nice as a 2 drop
crazed worshipper it’s turn 5 taunt. works real nice as intended or is easily removed and your face gets rearranged.
so I question what of those cards in the context of C’Thun warrior.. which are the best value. It leaves 4 slots open (because there’s always at least one acolyte being ran)
of those 4 slots I think I’m going to add in Gorehowl.. this leaves 3 slots… add a second acolyte? a beckoner? 2 slam? 2 crazed worshipper? or a combo of those… and go!

I had a Different Beast deck, and updated it using this guide… I’m running 2 copies of Wisps of the Old Gods instead of Argent Commander. Your thoughts?

The old deck had Huge Toad, Fandral, Wrath, Swipe … all replaced with Abusive Sgt., Worgen Infiltrator, Loot Hoarder (really like this addition btw why I didn’t have that before), and two copies of Wisps otOG

I’m leaning towards making N’zoth, and use a blood knight in place of Rag.???

looks interesting. I can craft ether rag (original) or N’zoth… which one to make this deck and what to replace the missing one.

closest thing I could see to refreshment vendor is Earthen Ring Farseer.. so trying that out instead.
