Kripp has done it! He hit legendary rank, and he finished the job with this Midrange Hunter deck. It uses a couple of the new Grand Tournament cards: King's Elekk and Ram Wrangler. Other than that it’s the pretty strong Midrange Hunter shell. He also uses Snake Trap instead of Explosive Trap. Stranglethorn Tiger is another card that’s finding popularity in Midrange Hunter. It’s hard to remove, so it pairs well with Ram Wrangler, and also takes out pesky Sludge Belchers.

I know this might seem far fetched but I got rid of web spinner, ram wrangler, and haunted creeper. Added a flare (those damn pallies, hunters mark ( longer game the big cards need some control specially with UTH, and added a king krush… Yes a king krush. Found myself gettin 2 end of games and being 6-8 points off. Started jumping past level 7 rather easily with a couple odd losses. If u hate the KK I really suggest tracking. Higher levels the situations get so specific and I always love have trackin there for that flare grab or whatever is necessary. Worked for me so. Yep

I just went on the most massive losing streak, i lost to secret pallys, fave hunters, token druids, control warriors :/ idk if i jist suck but the early game feels so weak and im so unlucky with Web/Elek/Wrangler 🙁 rank 13 – rank 16 in straight losses 🙁

I am currently and consistently rank 9 with this deck, almost made it to rank 8 in two games. Very good deck. I swapped out snake trap for bear trap, but for early metas the explosive trap might be more useful.

Have had great success with this deck, made it from rank 13-7 dropping only a few games. Finally a good answer to warrior control, and fends off aggression really well with hounds and snake trap. However, something I am having a TON of problems with is that new pally secret deck. Holy crap is it frustrating to play against, mysterious champion puts in up to 5 secrets in play in some decks. You attack one minion and it will proc 3-4 secrets, absolutely ridiculous. Last night I deranked to 8 after facing FIVE paladins in a row. Therefore, I was thinking about running flare somewhere in the deck. Anyone have a good suggestion as to what card to remove? I was thinking remove 1 freezing trap, possibly a webspinner instead? But if I remove spinner 4 secrets seems overkill. Thoughts?

TL;DR: Pally secret deck rapes me when I’m running this mid range hunter deck.

Same here the secret pally was way too much. I swapped one haunted creeper for flare, snake trap for explosive trap, and one stranglethorn for faceless manipulator. Haven’t matched up with a secret pally yet though. I think the flare will also be good against the tempo mage and other hunters as well, just be carefull not to un-stealth the stranglethorn like I did :/

Yeah, i did the same thing. Removed one Eaglehorn Bow, cause i didn’t want to lose a fast game start and put one Flare. Unfortunatelly, just one Flare is not enought. I matched with a Secret Pally, used Flare against Mist. Champ with 5 secrets (yeah, 5) and… in the other turn he put another 3 secrets and rape me as well. Dunno if its really a good thing put this Flare on the deck. I’m still with it and will try other matches against Secret Pally, but i think that deck is a cancer. Blizzard need to make a balancement, witch will never happen.

PS: Sorry about the awful english

Maybe it’s just my opinion, or maybe I’m lowskilled, I don’t know. But I have a losing streak from rank 7 to rank 10 with this deck. There are too many high cost minions. I can feel the lack of Piloted Shredder. I always find myself unable to “rewin” the board against zoo, too fast low hp against aggro like paladin or hunter, unable to answer to their threat.
With the other TgT Midrange Hunter, by Orange, I went from rank 12 to rank 7 with winning streaks. But with this one, I lost from rank 7 to 10. I tend to believe this deck has too much high-cost minions for this meta. And the lack of minions for the 4th round, I can always feel it.

I mean, it is a really fun deck. And I love that it is all about beast synergy. But sometimes, it is too dependent of that synergy. I don’t know.. Maybe it is just for me.

I must be getting terrible rng because I have lost 8 in a row with this deck. Kings elekk never hits (0/12), get terrible luck with webspinner, etc.

King Elekk also hasn’t hit for me. 0/8… But i managed to get from rank 24 -> 14 only with one loss, to face hunter.

This deck is easily winning in ranks 6-10. It’s a very solid deck to bring into an undefined meta. My losses were to niche cards Kezan Mystic. Take advantage of an undefined meta and play this deck. Ram Wrangler has such a high upside that it should be an auto include in decks that can take advantage of the beast type. King’s Elk hits about half the time (I haven’t counted actual numbers yet).

yeah i’ve been keeping track of the elk the last few games and after 20 games its hitting like 60% of the time (or so), obviously it depends on your opponents deck as well though (like, for example against control warrior you will probably lose but against a hunter or paladin it seems to work almost all the time) – the only thing I dislike is that when it doesn’t hit it feels reallllly bad because he only has 2 health, especially if you are playing him turn two. I think with the kodo/tigers though bringing the curve up a bit compared to “regular” midrange hunter though it’s still worth it to keep the elks because when it does hit it’s simply amazing plus it’s a beast for ram wrangler activation, even in the lategame if it hits it’s really good because it gives you the draw right when you are starting to run out of cards in an otherwise no-draw deck. Somehow though, eventhough this list is giving me very good results around rank 8, I feel like it needs to be tweaked/optimized a bit. For example, I’m not so sure that snake trap over explosive trap (or even misdirection) is a good choice, seems like I’ve had it fire off at odd times and I really don’t like when it triggers in addition to the freezing trap when both secrets are up. The other deck spot that I am stuck on is that I keep thinking that knife juggler, even as a one of perhaps, would be really solid (maybe just because I am so used to the normal midrange list though). My fav include is kodo, using him to clear out a flame waker or a imp gang boss just feels soooo good. Also ram wrangler seems to be one of those “meh” looking cards in terms of stats but once you play it you realize just how strong it actually is when it pulls a gazrilla or core hound, hell even pulling a timber wolf can be pretty crazy. Kripp really shows his deck building skills with this one, def the tgt deck with the best results so far!

This decklist is different than kripps actual one that he played to legend with. He has his actual one on his youtube channe, which includes stablemaster.
