Dog used this and the OTK Cube Demon Warlock to get #1 legend. He named this deck for @Rage_HS which likely means it was his list.

i just built this deck i’m having fun with it, i don’t have Edwin but in place i used Sonya she is good to have but sometimes i feel that if i had Edwin i could do a little better but then i couldn’t have the option of milling out my opponent by casting oracle many times, maybe having both would be good, idk though like i said i just built it, hopefully i get better but its hard to say because its a deck that suffers from misplays. but i also do tend to find myself mulling from a okay late game hand then mull into a really bad hand, idk how to avoid that any suggestions on how to survive with bad hands?

I dont know but I have a question, Is kings bane required for this deck?

        February 3, 2018 at 4:51 pm

Absolutely. All of the weapon buffs in the deck are meant for it and at the end of the game it can stop you from taking fatigue and you can play it every turn if you still have your original hero power.

Edwin give ur a chance vs aggro decks and dragopriest.im dont have Edwin and used Sonya too.Edwin better-trust.but Sonya may beat some decks.too many tips with sonya.

If you get the chance I suggest having both Sonya and Edwin, I have both I love being able to get a lot of minions back and being able to buff Edwin up aot, it’s a lot of fun and I’ve only lost one match due to a missplay

This beck beats absolutely nothing, control, raza, aggro, it’s helpless. The only thing that makes sense is the comment where someone said Dog actually made rank #1 with legend and used this as a rare counter queue. It’s just awful. There’s 2000 dust wasted.

Lol, you’re just bad with the deck. Its very good against razakus, cubelock and other control decks. They cannot get rid of their hand fast and are easily milled. Generally ok against combo because you can easily burn essential combo pieces. The only real threat is aggro, still winnable though.

Can any1 say me what should i keep on muligan vs agro and vs control decks)

    • Snufflux
      January 22, 2018 at 9:33 am

Against Aggro, mulligan for doomsayers, kingsbane or shinyfinder, edwin and backstab. Also, don’t be afraid to coin out a 4/4 edwin on turn 2 against Aggro. Having a somewhat large body on board that you can contest early on with can help later on. Another thing to keep in mind is to not feed them cards. Against Aggro you actually don’t really want to play your coldlight unless they have lethal on board and you can draw into something that will save you. Against control the only thing to really keep in mind is to save your cold lights until you can guarantee they will mill 2+ cards or you have a way to bounce it (shadowstep, vanish, etc.)

Can I swap out Edwin for something? I feel like I already have to use alot of dust for most of the cards here

I’m trying Phantom Freebooter in place of van Cleef. At worst, you have a dagger from the previous turn and it’s a 4/4 for 4. Later in the game, though, I can easily see it as an 8/6 or more. Not quite as good as van Cleef, but getting closer.

    Is van cleef necessary

This deck is a Dark Horse for the new TempoStorm metagame. I made the adjustments below, and it’s been ok also versus Paladin, Hunter and Zoolock. Worst MU is Tempo Mage, but can’t do anything against burn with a mill deck.

    -1 Doomerang
    -1 Edwin
    -1 Cheat Death

    +1 Bloodmage
    +2 Fan of Knives

Also, I subbed in Naga Coursair instead of Squidface. Too easy of a target for silence removals, they play around it with Ooze, and the buff is too slow v aggro. I have not tried Greenskin in that slot, because I don’t have one.

Can any body explain how this deck does the OTK ? Thanks!

    • Highball
      December 19, 2017 at 10:46 pm

You buff up Kingsbane throughout the game. Then drop Brann and a bunch of coldlight to mill them. Then smack them with a 22 power weapon or something.

It isn’t an OTK like Beardo/Uther or Exodia Mage but it can kill them in one turn.

      • Nope
        December 22, 2017 at 11:17 am

That’s not how it works at all.

    • Nope
      December 22, 2017 at 11:19 am

It’s not an OTK deck. It’s a mill/fatigue deck, you basically get of your Kingsbane weapons in your deck with Valeera which means that you’ll never run out of cards. If you need further explanation reply to me.

i want to make this deck but i am not sure if its really goood on ladder. i know that its not a good ladder deck its kind of fun but still would u recommend me to make that deck?

    • MrMeme
      January 23, 2018 at 12:53 am

it’s not an OTK, he goal is to burn ur opponents resoources and kill them with a buffed kingsbane while they fatigue.

So there is a version on Hs replay that runs greenskin and two doomerang. That has the better wr.

Anyone know who came up with this version and it’s actually better than this or just easier to win with pirates on board for noobs?
    Thnx

its really hard to rank with this deck….its super vs slow control decks (and it can still fail vs those too) but vs aggro it has really slim chances…..if you see hsreplay it shows it has a 40% winrate

Dog actually got rank 1 mostly with control warlock. He was queuing this deck for a few seconds and if he didn’t get a match he would swap to control warlock. The reasoning was that almost all of the players at the top were playing priest and this deck had a favorable matchup against priest. After a few seconds in queue without finding an opponent, the matchmaker looks for opponents at worse ranks (who weren’t all playing priest). This deck struggles against aggro but beats control pretty easily. It is especially good against big priest because sap and vanish provide answers to their big minions without making them resurrectable.

how to play against jade druid? can’t win of mill because of jade idols, should we run skulking geist if so what to replace with?

Honestly my favorite expansion so far. A while ago, the meta was full of raza priest and jade druid, and now… rank 1 legend kingsbane MILL ROGUE?!?!

    December 15, 2017 at 7:35 pm

is there a bit of a guide somewhere?
I understand that i want to just buff the weapon,
so do i muligan hard for coldight?

and is there a decent replacement for doomerang?
    (i dusted mine once unfortunately)

    • Scho3dl
      December 15, 2017 at 9:09 pm

You could watch my gameplay if you want some kind of a guide. I changed it a little bit but that’s just my personal preference.

      https://hsreplay.net/replay/gvob44wJCnzjxfqFMFg2xg#turn=5a

If the other players are not playing aggressiv (in rare cases) i try not to show them coldight.
But you will lose agains many aggro decks.
And try to never overload yourself with cards. ^^

This deck is not fun to play against…which means it is probably fun to play and watch your opponent suffer! May have to try it just for that reason.

it like saves you Health points. like some people puts prince 4 in mill rogue for the life steal. same as the three cost 3/3 heal 3.

      December 16, 2017 at 6:02 am

It is mainly realy good against raza priests, i saw many players run 2 evasions. Its rly good card for this deck.

    December 15, 2017 at 6:52 am

Remove the Hero card. You can easily kill yourself with fatigue. It’s a god awful deck with Valeera.

    • Shacal
      December 15, 2017 at 8:52 am

Nop, with kingsbane u can’t fatigue yourself, copy it with valeera and play it every turn.
