Literally one of the staple cards of Rogue class. Why the Rogue is already underpowered enough. It is not a commonly played class. I have no clue what they want to replace that card with, but it’s gonna be extremely hard.

Now Rougue is the less played class. Why to nerf the only really good think they have? Anybody is bored of playing against Rougue. Nerf a deck that is fun to play, fun to play against, not OP and underused makes no sense. Maybe increase the cost but the two thinks is destroy the class. And the most important, it makes the genuine Rougue style unplayable. Relly bad idea. And really disappointed with the NO nerf of Doomhammer.

Basically brings it in-line with Shadowflame then?

It’s funny because this card got hit really hard, but it’s still probably going to get played.

While this might have been excessive (I would have removed its ability to hit the face for sure, and maybe bumped it up to a 3-cost), the benefit of this nerf is that the dev team can now release more powerful rogue weapons and weapon buffs without worrying that it’ll get abused by Blade Flurry. I mean, just look at the most recent Rogue weapon we got: Poisoned Blade. POISONED BLADE. I rest my case.

I see what you mean but still the nerf was brutal like I saw in the commnets above its basicly shadowflame but worst

This may very well be the only nerf I disagree on, appart from the unexpected master of disguise change. Oil and Mill Rogue are very hard to play decks that require a lot of game knowledge and thorough thinking, a trait that Hearthstone often lacks. I understand where the concern comes from, but the increase in cost AND the minion only targeting is in my opinion overkill, and could very easily make the card unplayable. Hopefully the new expansion provides enough cards that make control decks more viable, which encourage thoughtful decisions that have a significant impact on the game, instead of the current meta were everyone plays simple aggro decks to climb the ladder.

rip so much worse than the first version but I guess it could see play as a good way to clear the board
