General Mulligans

You can basically try to get any of these cards, and I chose these because you need them either for tempo or mana ramping.

Edit#2  I altered the deck a little bit by smoothing its curve out which I did naturally on hearthstone, but for some reason on this site it was denying me to edit the deck so it has been left unchanged for a while.

I think that this deck is legend worthy because of my 95% win rate, and because I have constantly been ranking up.

I have ranked from rank 14 to rank 5 with it.  The main problem is super face shaman which will wreck you if you draw bad.  Every other match up including mill has been a massive victory for me though.

EDIT (I Removed the nerfed Druid cards out of sheer anger, and protest.)

Once the rest of the set comes out I will try to replace the nerfed cards, but I might just switch classes and that is just sad.

I removed these cards: Ancient of Lore Keeper of the Grove Big Game Hunter

This is how I think a good C’thun Druid deck will look.  I plan on building this deck when the new expansion comes out as well, but they could nerf some of these cards such as Ancient of Lore.  I also left a few cards out such as Big Game Hunter because I think they will be nerfed.

If none of these cards are nerfed then I can see this being a great deck, and you could easily make some changes to it such as switching the wild growths for more C’thun directed cards.

I also have a lot of 6 drops because I think Mire keeper can regularly be played before turn 5.  I also added in Brann to give a better chance of getting your C’thun to 10 attack by turn 4.  Depending on how much silence is needed you could think about removing the keeper, but I still feel that it is a staple in druid decks.

Whatever happens I think C’thun decks will be in the top tier of standard play.

the deck looks alright, but that mana curve is just awful. Not saying its a bad deck but it just seems you’ll be relying on wild growth, innervate, mire keeper, and possibly the coin just to be able to play cards. and having 8 cards for 4 mana will destroy your already weak early game if you don’t have a mana resource card

I have not looked at the deck list in a while, and so I updated it to look like my deck. I am currently rank 4 with this deck, and I started with it at rank 14. It is a great deck, and I encourage you to try it. If you find yourself losing against non C’THUN decks, and non Face decks then you may not be good at playing DRUID.

The deck has been edited, and it is now in my opinion legend worthy.

I have a feeling that aggro shaman will easily deal with this deck, and at this time they have not released a counter. If aggro shaman is allowed to become a thing then I really dont see any control deck being that good seeing how there is absolutely nothing you can do against it. If there is an anti aggro card then I will include it in the deck, but I am also still not sure what to replace for a good early game card.

I have edited the deck to be for an extremely slow control meta, and if the meta does go in this direction then this deck will be good in my opinion. The problem may be card draw, but once I actually play the deck I will see which cards can be replaced. I have taken out the twilight elder even though I think it is good to accommodate a potentially slow meta. If I find that people are just playing rush decks then I will switch most of the massive cards to small efficient ones.

Once all of the cards are released this deck may look a lot different.

Wouldn’t run double twilight elder, maybe not even running one at all. Druids in general like to skip to 4 mana on turn three due to wild growth. Since you’re already running brann, it should be enough to buff your C’thun when you combo him with other battlecries such as the above card or the 2 mana 2/3. Thus I feel like twilight elder is weaker for druids.

I like the many six drops due which I believe is supposed to synergize with Mire Keeper but I find black knight a bit too slow and lackluster. With belcher rotating out, there aren’t that many taunts you would want to destroy.

Wrath or/and Azure drake should be included and if the combo isn’t nerfed (highly doubt so), it should be included as well.

This deck also have no taunt (besides druid of claw) or healing (besides Ancient of Lore but we all use him for card draw 90% of the time), it is kinda greedy but if the meta slows down enough, it will definitely see play. Would consider a bit more defensive options, (1 more ancient of war maybe?)

this deck seems ok but i feel it may need some more high impact minions to help hold the game for cthun

    ragnaros for black knight ?

considering belcher is going to wild standard will have a alot less sticky taunts so rag statistically will do the same thing but threaten a bigger body

and probably take out wild growth for darnassus because yea you want the ramp but based on how random it will be to draw the one card you want plus getting him buffed just right racing to 10 mana may not be efficient or necessary

    so maybe 1 darn 1 growth ?

regardless i like this deck will definitely be trying it asap

I am thinking that I should put in more card draw such as the azure drake, and that is because after play testing I have noticed that it is hard to get C’THUN.

Cool deck! I would include Darnassus Aspirant 100% !
