No mention of either Elise Starseeker? I remember the original Elise was included in many control decks, especially Control Warrior, to win the control vs control match ups. The new Elise from Un’Goro had a similar role. Any reason those weren’t mentioned?

In order to receive Nemsy, you need to participate in a Fireside Brawl. It’s basically a special game mode at Established Taverns. I actually received mine over the past weekend and I didn’t know that you had to do the Fireside Brawl. Next time you do one of these Fireside Gatherings, try out the Fireside Brawl.

It appears that you are right. The lantern means that the tavern is not established. But feel free to go to those firesides anyways! That will help those taverns become established and you could make some new friends as well!

According to the way Blizzard has worded it, you can only make a tavern established AFTER it has hosted a Fireside Gathering with 3 or more people. So unfortunately, no you cannot establish it AT the event. However, if you find some reason that you can, let me know.

Will you consider doing a P2W BTW series where you try to get to rank 5 with a 30 legendary deck? Us Pay to Win players feel left out by this Free to Play series.

The Hunter DK has the best entry though. I love playing it, destroying the opponent’s board then emoting “Start running prey!”. I usually end up losing the game, but it’s still fun to do.

No I wouldn’t count any decks out yet. It’s still too early after the new expansion to definitely say what works and what doesn’t. Try the decks out for yourself, see how you do, and make a determination yourself about what you feel is good and not good.

The immune from this minion only applies to the turn you play it, so it’s completely useless on Doomsayer

Well it stops a Warrior from turning their turn 6 Arcanite Reaper from 10 damage to 18 damage. It’s just an example though, I was just listing strong/staple 1 mana spells.

This card is an insane meta counter. It can be used against a wide range of decks such as Jade Druid (kills Jade Idol), Control Warrior (Kills shield slam and Whirlwind), Pirate Warrior (Kills Upgrade), Paladin (kills secrets), and so much more. Jade Druid would probably be the one hit the hardest with losing 1 cost spells because Jade Idol is such a strong card that allows the deck to keep summoning Golems well into the late game.

New Paladin Hero skin, but still no Warlock or Druid yet 🙁

This card is pretty great against aggro tbh. Most cards in an aggro deck already are low cost, and the 10 armor is significant against aggressive decks. Reducing the cost of minions in their hand could even encourage and aggro deck to dump their hand, which you would then proceed with a card such as Brawl. In Control mirrors, the cost of minions typically isn’t as relevant as life total and hand size. I expect this card will at least be tested in Control Warrior decks.

Lord Jaraxxus is a Demon, so you can use Sacrificial Pact on him. If you become Jaraxxus, you can then use Sacrificial Pact on yourself and instantly destroy your hero. It is a weird interaction that many long time players know about, but not many newer players may know about.

This is true, I didn’t think about that one! I still don’t recommend the Warlock though because it will be difficult to get off.
