Thanks for the report, dual class are currently not showing correctly after decks are built, we’re already working on the fix, though! Will 100% get it done before the end of reveal season.

We’ll see how the meta develops, but yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get another quick nerf patch (hopefully not AS quick as last time).

And that’s an universal rule – never craft cards right after the expansion’s release (unless you have so much Dust that you don’t care) – stuff that seems overpowered at first might turn out to be weak after a few days.

Pack fillers are usually revealed during the final reveal stream – they don’t want to send bad cards to sites / streamers etc. because a boring pack filler is not a good promotion of the set 🙂

But yeah, the set looks good so far!

You can always buy pre-order even a few hours before the expansion’s launch, so 6th would be the last day.

But if you want to get it, I would do it a day before just to be safe.

I like Kripp, but I would love to see another reveal stream with Kibler. He’s super chill and wants to have as much fun as possible during the reveal, sometimes even throwing the game just to see some new cards or cool interactions. And that’s how it should go, honestly – they aren’t there to win after all.

I could honestly see Scholomance as a test for dual class cards to stay there and become a recurring “mechanic” like Rush, Discover or Hero cards. Maybe not 40 per expansion, but if they end up successful, I would love to see them in the future too (maybe even with different class combinations).

I’m nearly 100% sure that we won’t get another balance update this expansion. The new set releases in just 2 weeks, it wouldn’t make any sense to nerf anything now when the meta hasn’t even settled yet after the last patch.

The one from last week was already super unexpected so late into the meta.

Paladin is in a pretty bad state right now, so having a few strong cards won’t likely lead to the nerf. Unless the expansion is full of those, but we’ll have to wait & see 🙂

Freshman – it would definitely get nerfed if it was Neutral, but I just can’t see it in Priest, other than some kind of Midrange/Tempo deck (and those were always pretty bad). And I mean, the class had Northshire Cleric for years, which was much stronger than Freshman. “Broken” 1-drops aren’t really that big of a problem in Priest.

I’ll reply to both comments at once.

Goody Two-Shields Spellburst might be good in slow matchups. Against Tempo decks when you fight back and forth with minions, it will most likely die in a single hit. But against slower decks, they might not be able to pop DS AND clear it at the same time. But yeah, overall I think that it’s only a bonus, not the main point of the card. It’s like a 6/10 as a 3 mana 4/2 with DS, and I added +1 for the Spellburst.

I thought about the interaction between Broom and Glowfly Swarm / similar token-summoning cards in Druid, but I don’t think so. Decks running those are spell-heavy and most likely want to run Fungal Fortunes.

It seems really good, but the only thing I’m afraid of is that 4/2 with DS is not very good in a faster meta with lots of early minions. Like against the current DH, the card would be pretty weak – they would have a rather easy time clearing it off.

But it still looks like a very solid card, of course 🙂

They are their own type of packs, but I’m not sure if they have guaranteed Legendary in the first 10 packs. I remember reading different people saying different things, and it’s a bit hard to say, because we didn’t have many Golden packs so far.

Happy to hear that. I’m actually writing a review for the first batch of cards 🙂 Not sure if I will be able to keep up with every reveal (since reveal season is always super busy), but I’ll try my best to at least review some of them.

Are you sure that you downloaded the patch? It sometimes comes out later on mobile devices.

I can disenchant cards for full Dust cost without a problem.

And you need a spell to activate its effect. The card would be totally broken if it was a Battlecry like Cobalt Spellskin.
