Well. Priest haters got what they wanted. And now we all get face hunter & aggro shaman. The meta became monotonous pretty fast.

This is an opinion that really comes out of the blue if you read you article carefully. Random generating resources and manipulating the board and hand of the other player is definitely a clear playstyle. One I happen to love.

But there is a sort of hate towards priest, that is also a bit random, and just a trend in hearthstone community. Matches take longer against priest, and even thought the other player knows they are losing, they keep on playing and become frustrated. Whereas losing against an aggro is a short game, short memory, easily forgotten.

Hey topdecks, I just want to balance the discussion here. Because I think people who like RNG, like me, are also people who would less likely read your article and subsequently also not be part of the comments.

For me hearthstone is the ideal mix between rng and skill. Any games that embraces a good deal of luck is ideal as a hobby. I also believe luck is an element that too many people focus too much on. In poker you can really say that luck of the cards should be the top factor in any game but I wouldn’t want to gamble against professionals. Chess is a good example of a game where RNG is nonexistent, but I’d rather play a game of heartstone or poker.

I love your website and use it almost every week. But one thing that is difficult is that my safari always says, ‘this website is using significant energy, closing it will increase the responsiveness of your computer’. I was wondering what it was, the youtube link maybe?
