Yes please from America. I’d take either standard or daylight time all the time before doing the change. Although if it was standard all the time it would get light ridiculously early in summer (4am or earlier some places) and if it was daylight time all the time then in winter you’d have sunrise way too late maybe 9am at points. So yeah something to think about..

Well Blizzard’s corruption knows no bounds. Picking favorites to skip multiple people who have rightly earned the spot? That means that no matter what you do, if you’re not one of Blizzard’s chosen, that no matter who you beat or what you do in esports that it doesn’t matter whatsoever. Blizzard will still declare that you lost and their chosen has won. In ESPORTS. It’s a charade. Laughingstock of the gaming world; the company is falling apart while being in complete delusion.

They would just convince themselves that when many people hate those skins and are sick of their perpetual desperate pandering to China. So I have to see ugly Chinese-pandering skins that have nothing to do with Warcraft when I play, but the idea of a classic mode is a lie when I have to pretend that a felstalker is the classic card, not succubus. They reverted everything that was classic back to classic mode, having different versions of the same cards, EXCEPT when it comes to the shameful Chinese censors. They’re still too terrified to have anything in the game that China hasn’t deemed fit that they pretend classic mode isn’t actually classic mode- China edition. At what point does a supposedly American company gain the ability to defect? An American company that is supposed to have basic human ideals has pledged complete loyalty and is fawning over a laughable government over a few extra bucks. Same country that gave the world the gift of Covid and everyone acts like it was someone else.

Would you use Deathwing if it was less than 12/12? There’s a huge drawback of hand discard. I think back in the day they made good dragons have 4 attack because the game was much simpler and it was safe from priest shadow words.

It would only make sense that the core cards are gone after the next year replaced with whatever next year is. Not copies of every core card for every year in wild.

Basic just goes into legacy set. No reason they’d make them commons. Either way it’ll say uncraftable.

Or maybe he meant some more casual mode in-game where you play a best of for some odd reason? Seems not even worth mentioning for such vagueness.

And what is that first point? Competitive qualifiers are already best of 3 not 1. Tier 2 tourneys are best of 5. The only thing I can imagine him referring to is the fact that tier 1 tourneys are single-elim not swiss or double-elim, which is different than best of x games. And yeah sideboards are gross and not the way this game is intended to be played.

I totally got a Prodigal Son vibe from the Anduin book of heroes. There’s even the dad there too playing that same role. But we all know that Blizzard “parodies” every bit of content they ever create. (They use easy plagiarism targets for every bit of creative content on their part and pass it off as parody)

You yourself JUST said you were baffled at the purpose of classic mode. I gave you the insightful answer you were looking for and then you pivot to defensive babble.

Furthermore a fraction of dust could never be worth the value of a full set of evergreen cards that now everyone gets. Not even complaining, just pointing out obvious facts.

My point was they made classic mode as a band-aid for removing classic & basic and hand-selecting which cards will still be core.

Nah holy shock a mountain giant. It could somehow be guaranteed to be the last card I think. Even if not back then that idea was still decent.

It’s actually completely obvious, because people are understandably upset that they invested so much in classic packs just to have them be worthless outside of wild, which also gets to use the core set so redundancy there too with classic packs. This way if someone had a bunch of classic packs for some reason they can just say “well the classic packs can still be used/are needed for classic MODE”. Sneaky way to retire classic and basic cards without compensating people who grinded to get all the classic cards.
