Ok classic HS is a really really dumb idea. The only thing announced here that really stands out for being such a whiff of an idea.

Why not just wait until April to release? Can we use our cards until April for god’s sake. Shouldn’t just be whenever they have it ready. Cards are considered an investment right? Not good when they’re willing to retire your cards & decks forever just because they happen to have the expansion ready (be real if they release it in April it still will be full of bugs). There are so many fun decks now and the standard card-base is the highest it’s ever been. A mini-set & meta shift JUST happened which should suggest they wait longer not earlier. Let us enjoy the game, April will come in a heartbeat.

It seems like a huge mistake that they didn’t go for 5 and thought a measly ONE PACK was appropriate for these chores of heroes. One class pack is a jooooooke. With 5 at least you MIGHT get something worthwhile that you were holding off crafting. Not even worth the time even though I’ll still do it. It’s a huge mistake on their part that they could have easily foreseen.

Yeah somehow they should allow you to get 10, your idea would have been great. Half of people getting legendaries from packs and half not sucks.

I’m just saying I don’t think the devs (or anyone) want any combo to be possible just by having 10 mana and 4 cards in-hand without any other conditions required. Mozaki mage requires mana reduction, maybe a biscuit or two in-hand, sometimes a favorable evocation, enough spells to pump up Mozaki, and ideally 8 specific cards in-hand (2 apprentices, mo, evo, and the missiles & frostbolts, but the damage spells are the flexible part), plus obviously surviving before that takes cards which are bogged down by the combo cards. Just one example but for any otk that wasn’t nerfed I’m sure you can see that it’s not just having 4 cards and 10 mana. If it’s that easy the deck would just run a control shell and be the most overpowered deck in the game.

Just so you know I don’t prefer males, just for a rogue I would though. Don’t know why but it seems more interesting to me. But if I’m playing mage I’m going Jaina for sure. So I’m not preferential to either gender, just depends on the class and characters.

Plus the thing about having 7 males and 2 females when the game came out. Since then they were able to fill in EVERY class plus a new class with females but they can’t do a male rogue. And you think that’s not intentional pandering. All I’m saying is that’s fine if you want to give EVERY class a female but do the same thing for males, since you know, it would be way easier to fill in ONE class that doesn’t have a male than to fill in 8 classes with females first and act like it was an accident. Someone at Blizzard made it a priority to give all classes a female. Then why do males not matter when it would require just ONE new skin when they go above and beyond to make all classes have a female??

I wasn’t complaining actually, just comparing. I don’t have any issues with female characters. I was complaining of the lack of males and pointing out something I found interesting :/ I mean really you think a female demon hunter feels more natural than a male rogue, is all I was saying.

He has a point though. Personally I think playing otk decks are quite fun but at the same time I can acknowledge that it’s probably quite a bad thing for the health of the meta. Blizzard has never once crafted a meta that was not overly ruled by aggro, which prevents much more cards from ever seeing play. It’s like guys, how about for ONE expansion, try to prevent aggro from ruling the meta, and they can’t do it for what like 20 expansions now. Like if the meta god forbid was ever ruled by control, then maybe otk decks if not too strong could actually exist and people wouldn’t even hate them. Better than nothing but aggro all up the ranks of high legend right? I’m curious if anyone can name one expansion that at the time with the other standard sets had a meta that was bad for aggro. Probably not.

It was not too early to tell that a nerf was needed to tiller otk. The nature of the combo was far more trivial to pull off than any other otk.
