I had fun last night playing Libram Paladin as I have the cards for it – still struggles against DH though.

DH is still ridiculously strong and versatile.

No… if you don’t draw your ramp cards you’re definitely screwed – and even if you do you’ll probably still lose to a big burst plus Kayn

What are the best strategies for beating this deck with Galakrond Warrior?

Honestly I’m not loving the current meta so far – I like most of the new cards and mechanics, but it seems very hard at this point to win a game against an unfavourable match up, no matter how well you pilot your deck. In Saviors and League of Evil I felt I had at least some chance of beating a deck archetype that was favored to win against mine so long as I made good plays – not so much in Descent, unless my opponent has an absolutely terrible draw.

Galakrond Shaman is still the strongest archetype easy – the Invoke tokens, Galakrond battlecry and Dragon’s Pack were its main strengths – all completely untouched.

Yep. Turn 5 Dragon’s Pack = GG aggro decks.

This new Highlander Hunter doesn’t feel like tier 1 tbh – more like solid tier 2. Seem to need a very good curve and my opponent a poor draw to win with it. Still trying to work out when is the best time to trade and when to go face.
