Loved the idea. The unexpected combo instead of a frustrating well-know Thunder Bluff tactics that doesn’t work most of the time seems great.

How is it doing on Ladder?

Thalnos is in almost every deck nowadays. Sometimes you want spell damage, sometimes you want card draw. Thalnos gives you both.

If you have the dust, craft it. Totally worth it. Best Legendary I’ve crafted.

It’s not a Tavern Brawl, there’s no special rules. It’s just a Constructed Arena with a big deviation of prizes.
I don’t see a problem in it, it’s a new kind of game with a competitive player focus; I see a problem in not having the regular Tavern Brawl during the week.

I consider myself a competitive player (struggling to get legend any time soon) but I’m probably not playing this “Brawl”, the current meta and the proximity to a new expansion makes more reliable to just buy 10 packs of the new expansion (1k gold).

Even if I get 9 victories, which I think it’s very hard to happen, what am I going to do with 16 Old Gods packs? It gets much worse when you think about 5-6 victories, which is much more realistic (talking about myself).

Yeah. 100% winrate with it.

Got from rank 6 to 3 with just a few losses. Great deck, not that easy to play. It’s not a matter of playing huntress and a bunch of traps.

I think it’s Velen + Embrace + 2xFlash Heal + 2xMind Blast
It’s 9 mana and 40 damage with Thaurissan.

Which rank is reachable with this deck? I liked the idea and wanna try.

I think I prefer the panther. Both are on the table after the spell and your opponent has the chance to deal with it, but dealing with a Stealth minion is harder. I think the bear is better when you focus is to avoid face damage.

Most of the time, Quick Shot is used as removal. You can try Power Shot, I really like the card, but maybe I give it more credit than it deserves.
Keep in mind that Power Shot can’t kill Mana Wyrm, Tunnel Trogg, Voidwalker – but in some boards it can be devastating. And it’s not on the “expected cards” list, and many players won’t play around it.

Great against Doomsayer and other board cleaners too.

Which rank?

I played this deck yesterday from rank 10 to 7 with 80% winrate. All the minions and spells did their job, except the Jugglers. Considering all the games, there were no more than 4-5 knives. At the end of the day, they’re just expensives “taunt” minions.

Any ideas?

I tried this deck for the first time yesterday, last day of July.
And WOW, I got rank 3 for the first time with more than 80% win rate. Great!

Anyone tried a Yogg with this deck as an emergency button?

I don’t have Vancleef and put a Questing Adventurer in place. Is it that terrible?
And what about Dark Iron Skulker? I think it’s a good card for board control, specially against zoo decks.

That’s the idea. Nowadays I feel that strictly aggro/face decks are having a hard time to advance in ranked.
The Cultmaster addition is great. Sometimes I miss drawing some cards, indeed. I will try it too.
