Also take a peek at the chest for each bounty, the mercs listed there are the coins you get for completing the bounty.

This is how you can get coins consistently for mercs you don’t have, in order to craft them.

I’m pretty sure 3 out of the 5 reward boxes are associated with the chest not your party. You get one box for a merc in your party and another box that is just random (it may be a merc you own in general, not sure).

Any confirmation on how the bounty reward is broken down?

I just crafted Malfurion from grinding on level 23/28H in Felwood. Hoping I can finally beat Rag – Nature Style since I don’t have Jaina.

It’s not a coincidence. Of course legendary coins are more rare from a pack perspective but also the bounties offer specific coins and those legendary’s coins are all in Blackrock.

If you’re running level 8 heroic you’ll have a lot of Cariel, Corni and Rok coins but none of these.

Yeah seems the Diablo and Cairne are the ones to have.

Sadly I have neither.

My current party is Alex/WMV/BW then G/Tav/Cariel off the bench.

The mercs arnt independent of one and other hence synergies so mercs like BW are necessary for activating Alex Aoe effect. (It’s the only other dragon, unless u summon with WMV).

My ultimate party is to sub-out cariel for Rag and Tav for Diablo. Massive fire damage but zero healing except BW.

It’s certainly more like WOW Mobile than it is just hearthstone now.

I can understand the disappointment players can have that they haven’t developed the CCG more since for most of us thats what they downloaded.

Still I honestly don’t even know what those other games are. So for me, generally a console gamer, a single diverse mobile app with multiple offerings really works.

This is the only mobile game I play. And I’ve been playing Warcraft since its inception so the nostalgia is nice too.

I’ve spent five bucks so maybe I’m disqualified but I’ve been very competitive in PVP with Alex/BMS/BW starting and then BaronG/Ray/Grom.

Oppo focus on wiping out BMS and then I drop BaronG for double AOE dmg w/ Alex AOE effect and usually almost clear their board on turn two.

I probably will spend gold on packs in the future. I’m down to leveling Gruul because I’ve maxed out my other 5 protectors. But more money. I doubt.

Jax/kurtus/Rath can all combo fel spells with ROD as finisher.

Jax can actually combo his own fel abilities and you can ring Guldan four times with ROD. I think? I don’t have Jax, so untested.

Level 3 equipment *

I’m running cariel/corni/anduin and grom/rokara/guldan. Has worked pretty well in both PVE/PVP. Until I ran into somebody who clearly got the pre-order and they wiped the floor with me. All gold Mercs all level 4+ abilities and lvl equipment. Didn’t have a chance.

I don’t see alot of reason to buy the packs in general.

Between the frees packs and the 5 bucks I spent for 5 packs and a legend. I already have all the rare Mercs and and over half of the available in general.

To me this mode replaces my BGs time which I have like 90% of the achievements anyways. Damn AFK.

I find the mode to be fun. I certainly don’t see any reason to buy packs for it.

Completing the tasks will be part of my daily heartstone ritual.

Unless I’m confused the portraits are as good as getting the merc itself.

Grinding away at tasks is sort of the nature of alot of games.

Certainly a totally different game then hearthstone. I think I’ve spent 300 gold so far upgrading the town which isn’t really alot imo. 120 dust.

Tried this once. Thanks for confirming my suspicion that “your opponent” was not a real person. Absolutely wiped the floor with the AI – 6-1.

This will be more fun when ppl have leveled mercs.
