Top Standard Legend Decks From Rise of Shadows – Week 5 (May 2019)

The meta hasn’t really changes last week – we’re at the point where we won’t have any breakthrough without a nerf patch. Most of the attention was focused on the announced Solo Adventure – The Dalaran Heist. Some decks still might get discovered, but the “top dogs” are pretty much figured out. Right now we’re mostly observing small changes in deck lists or popularity shifts.

There are two main trends I’ve noticed last week. First – Mana Cyclone version of Mage gets more and more popular compared to Conjurer Mage. At first I’ve lumped those together, but after it getting popular I started calling it “Cyclone Mage”. I don’t think that it will push out the regular Conjurer Mage completely, but it will be an important player.

The second trend is people going back to more Lackey-focused Tempo Rogue lists. Cards like EVIL Cable Rat or Heistbaron Togwaggle have mostly disappeared from Tempo Rogue lists (in favor of a more streamlined, faster play style), but they seem to be making a small comeback. More and more of the top lists run those again.

Below, you will find a full list of the Legend decks from last week, sorted by the highest placement.

If you want to get legendary or high in rankings it doesn’t matter what decks are u using, the only thing that count is to invest plenty of your time in the game, and by plenty i mean lots of hours every day.
I don’t know if investing lots of money helps as well, not from my experience, as i’m playing the game for more then 2 years and invested in few expansions but only got legendary once even though i always have the top 6-7 decks.
I would suggest to play the game for fun in spare time, not investing any cash in it!!

I think it does matter which deck you play. it wont be enough playing a 51% winrate deck over 4 weeks to hit legend. So you have to play at least a meta deck about Tier 2 i think. You also dont need to invest a lot of money. One good deck is enough right now and in most other metas too. You can hit legend with a budged deck, without playing 5 hours a day. Your suggestion might be okay, but everyone is deciding this on their own.

In my exp at rank 3 (last week) to 1 (currently) [EU] I meet hunter, rogue and warrior mainly like 80%+. That other match could be a druid, mage or shaman.
Maybe a patch would change the (standard) meta for the better, but I think we really need more cards.

My legendrun last season was about 40% Rogue Mirror… totally agree with your about 80%. Mage is rising in popularity, but if you take a look at vicious sindicate meta report you get nearly the same percentages. Rogue still enough to perform at about 60-70% winrate overall. With some practice bad matchups become even. So for right now i like facing warriors with rogue, cause its a challenge. We need some changes before the next expansion hits the floor. Dont know what to change…but the power Level of rogue is huge (but HSReplays says its only 4th best class right now). Prep or Raiding Party, maybe Waggle Pick. Iam not sure. Dr. Boom up to 8 mana or smth. Dont know what to do against Hunter but iam sure we need some changes.
