Rise of Shadows Decks – Hearthstone Pro & Streamer Legend Deck Lists, Deck Ideas, Decks for All Classes!

Our Rise of Shadows decks roundup features a full list of deck lists that have been played by legendary players, pros, and streamers. You will be able to find decks for all of the classes: Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, and Warrior. We will be keeping this guide updated throughout the beginnings of the new expansion.

Rise of Shadows is the first expansion of the Year of the Dragon. Standard rotation always comes with the biggest changes to the meta, especially this one, since we also have a massive Hall of Fame rotation. Rise of Shadows introduced many new and powerful cards, and we are hoping to see some new archetypes after a bit of a slow to change meta.

Rise of Shadows Deck Lists

We’ll be featuring a bunch of theorycraft decks early on. Once the expansion has been released, we will be feverishly posting new decks for the first few days. After that it usually tapers off as decks become more refined. If this isn’t your first expansion then this is obvious, but be very wary of decks early in the expansion cycle. A deck can be popular one day and then never heard from again. This has happened multiple times in the past, and usually at least once every expansion. If you are a budget player, I recommend holding off for at least a week or two before committing to crafting anything. Spending Dust on Legendaries during the first few days is a very common mistake, and can leave you without means to craft the actual meta Legendaries when everything slows down.

Yeah I know I shouldn’t complain on day 3, but… currently laddering at rank 3… 9/10 is warrior (mirror) and ocassionally a rogue… boring endless games, decided by who gets the Dr. Boom first… Archivist is a must, combined by Baleful to outlast… now suddenly Mecha’thun warrior pops up to counter the bomb/control warrioir… warrior warrior warriors everywhere aaargh error error something went wrong.

It depends on the day & hour you play. Today for example i faced just rogues and token druids. Yesterday i faced alot of control/bomb warriors

Is it just me or is resurrect wall priest OP? 5/0 so far… Vargoth and Mass Resurrection is a much bigger tempo swing than even oak heart.

It’s definitely good, but I’d take this week’s results with a grain of salt. Everything is still just so new: many decks are still experimental, players are still learning how to pilot around unfamiliar matchups, and everyone is being cautious on what/when they craft.

How good is Control Bomb Warrior. Seems over powered. Definiately fun to play and really hard to play against. Mine has the Archivist Elysiana and Augmented Ellie cards in it.

So glad there are no more odd/even crap decks!
I was really tired of playing the same decks over and over…

I know it’s to early to make statements about the “new” HS, but either way i think it will never be so bad or repetitive as it was in the past year.!!!

Little of topic question. You can not receive double Legendary cards from packs. But What if you have all the Legendaries from a set? Do you not get any anymore?

    Hi,

Will you be updating your budget decklists for this expansion/new year of Hearthstone?

I have been and always will be a budget player and updated decks would really help me!

    Thanks.

Thank you so much for all the hard work that you put into keeping this site up-to-date and high quality, it really shows!

25 packs in and so far Oblivitron and Madam Lasule…so yeah…haha. Also servers seem to be struggling on EU

Is that sarcasm? ‘Cuz Oblivitron is actually looking kinda hot. Really good if you can combo with either Nine Lives or Shaw. If you’re interested, check out Firebat’s and/or Dog’s deathrattle hunter decks/streams.

But Lazule…yeah, I got her too. Not exactly bad, but definitely not what I was hoping to find the first week either.

Thanks for this! I know when a new expansion comes out I’m often at loose ends for a little while as I try to figure out how the new cards will fit into my play. This is a great starting point and I’m excited to try out and iterate on these ideas!

Also, no pro, streamer & Legend decks, right?

That MIGHT be because the expansion is not out yet and we already created a post with deck lists so everyone can save the link, bookmark it etc. We just added the theorycrafts we have right now.

When are we getting a Zoo deck?

    • Stonekeep - Site Admin
      April 7, 2019 at 10:43 am

We still have a bunch of decks to showcase before the expansion’s launch. Hard to say if Zoo will be one of them – it depends on how much time me (and the rest of our writers) will have.

I play a lot with Exodia Mage and I wanna see another Exodia Mage Deck from this new meta (a little more than hopeful). My concern since the rotation removed Waygate, Molten Reflect, & Maleficarum, there’s no more effective way to produce another Sorc Apprentice with minimum efforts.

    This year sucks.
