What non legendary can I replace Ziliax with?
I’m currently playing with rusty recycler but I’m not sure it’s any good
I have just dropped from using this deck. I started at rank 17 and I am currently sitting at rank 19. Maybe I am not playing it correctly, but I am definitely at a negative win rate right now. Its a shame I was really excited about this deck and I’m pretty bummed out that it wasn’t as effective as I’d hoped. Any advice would be appreciated as I have invested a lot of dust into this deck.
I’m at rank 13 currently and started at 20 and got all the way down just using this deck. Just play a lot of casual and learn it slowly and see what works for you and adjust it from there :). Is this deck worth crafting? I have already crafted Kalegcos and have to craft some more cards..but is it worth the dust?
I’d say so, I love freeze mage and this has been a ton of fun to play. Overall, match-up wise the deck is great against Rouge but struggles against Warrior and Druid. Warrior’s armor can be a nuisance but sometimes you can burst them down if you’re lucky. Druid’s Soul of the Forest causes problems because of the deck’s reliance on high cost boardclears so don’t hesitate throwing out a turn 2 Doomsayer on an empty board to stall.
For replacements every legendary is a safe craft so don’t stress about spending dust there. On the epics you could sub Ice Barrier for Keysmith and add another Pyro for a PoC if you have it on hand.
I have currently 16 out of 30 cards ready so I have taken out a key Smith so far for a polymorph and replaced instead of acolyte, Antonidas since I have him ready..from the legendaries i need to make alexstraza and some epic cards as well..many people like this deck as far as I see and with many positive comments but I mean I hope that my dust won’t go to waste..also about the control warrior issue I hope that with antonidas and some consistent usage of ray of frost I will generate a lit of fireballs to melt his armor in the long run
Alex is a safe craft as there’s word she’ll get HoF next year.

I crafted most of the cards in this deck and missing 2 doomsayers and the pyroblast..replaced Acolyte for Antonidas for the consistent damage output against control warrior..and thinking of skipping one life drinker for a applebaum..
Really Alex is going to HoF?… God and I started loving this legendary…this sucks..
Yeah, you definitely need the Doomsayers or this deck won’t work. They’re crucial for early game board clears and keeping the opponent off your back. The pyroblast is often a crucial late game finisher that you’ll need to win some tough games. If you can’t craft them I don’t suggest trying without them.
anyone try m. giants for early game? (instead 8 mana spells). i think this deck needs early game board minion. some classes has answer for doomsayer
What is your opinion on adding Archmage Antonidas in replacement of Acolyte of Pain? I have been playing and experimenting with this kind of deck and found that I always had enough draw, whereas I often lacked the damage to counter Control Warrior’s armor gain. After adding Archmage I had a lot more success due to the easy access to more damage from comboing with Ray of Frost. Do you think this change is beneficial or harmful to the overall goal of the deck?
I’ve been thinking about adding Archmage as well but I’m hesitant about removing Acolyte. Acolyte can cause really awkward turns for the opponent, allowing a Lifedrinker or Warmage to stick later on. I’ve been thinking just replacing PoC as it usually just sits in my hand.
Is a 2nd Keysmith necessary? I’m missing one and bring stingy with my dust 😛
Also, how is the deck vs warriors and all that armor?
While Keysmith is useful due to its flexibility I wouldn’t consider it a core card of the deck. You could probably get away with another substitution just fine. I personally took out Acolyte of Pain to add Archmage Antonidas for the extra damage in countering Control Warriors. It combos well with Ray of Frost and adds that extra reach. I never found that I needed more draw anyways.

How are you dealing with Warriors? Just a race for OTK before they get too much armor?
In my experience with the deck I perform well against warriors it’s mostly all about that end game with kalecgos and your spells you use to burn Dr. Boom to try to get through all that armor
Also I seem to be having so much trouble with rush. Like with druid and shaman. Any solutions?
Mulligan for clear or freezing stuff + doomslayer.
Do you think I could replace doomsayers with cinderstorm? I have tried both and seem to get better results with cinderstorm. Especially with shaman morlock being so common

I’m a new player and I opened a pack and instantly got a gold Kalecgos I usually play as a hunter, but this season I wanted to try out mage and Kalecgos gave it a flavor I was really interested in and wanted to know if its viable or not.
