With the newest expansion of Whispers of the Old Gods, many of our favorite Zoo cards have been nerfed or are not playable in standard anymore. However, Whispers of the Old Gods has presented us with a plethora of great cards to add to the Warlock Zoo deck we all knew and loved. And died to. A lot.
So here is my take on Warlock Zoo for this standard season, the deck that has done more good to me than Shaman Midrange.
After taking out Ironbeak Owl and Imp-losion due to obvious reasons, I had to add in something in its place. Possessed Villager and Darkshire Councilman were shoe ins. Possessed Villager is essential 2 1/1s for 1 mana, getting two knives off of Knife Juggler if out. Pair that with Darkshire Councilman, and things just get crazy. Yes, it heightens our curve just a tad, but the value you get from it paired with Knife Juggler is insane.
Forbidden Ritual + Darkshire Councilman + Knife Juggler = Insanity.
