Mulligans
General Mulligans
Mulligans are very straightforward with this deck as they don't differ much from the current popular rogue decks. Keleseth is always a keep as he can boost the effectiveness of your entire deck when played. Fire Fly is the only one drop and is very useful in clearing early minions and setting off combos. Backstab can be useful in nearly every situation for the same reason Fire Fly is. Hench-Clan Thug is a very interesting keep and should be treated carefully. Being able to hero power on turn 2 and then play Hench-Clan on turn 3, buffing it with your weapon on the same turn, can snowball games on its own. However, don't feel like you need to keep it and give up the chance of getting a Fire Fly or Backstab that can keep aggressive decks in check.
This deck is a take on the current Tempo/Miracle Rogue that has been relatively popular recently. The major difference is the inclusion of Prince Keleseth and the Shadowsteps that accompany it. This inclusion allows for a boost to Rogue’s solid core of minions that have great tempo in terms of their Battlecry’s and draws. Included also is the Blink Foxes and Tess Greymane. This isn’t always the most useful of additions but gaining class cards from the Foxes is usually better than another 3-drop. Tess herself can be very useful as a late game booster if you were able to steal your opponents class minions.
These changes overall combine extremely well with the included Shadowsteps. Nearly every minion is useful to Shadowstep except for Hench-Clan Thug and perhaps Fire Fly. This also lends itself to the usefulness of Sonya Shadowdancer as she allows for trades to turn into 1-1 Vilespines and such.
