Important Cards

The main card of focus in the deck is the card Carnivorous Cube which when it’s combined with Play Dead or Terrorscale Stalker should be used to duplicate  Cobalt Scalebane, Corpse Widow, Kathrena Winterwisp or Savannah Highmane or use a high stated Zombeast made from the hero power of Deathstalker Rexxar these combo’s are the late game bulk of the deck and should be used as a turnaround or as a finish against control decks.

One of the most important cards in the deck is Deathstalker Rexxar which is the main counter against control decks because of the value obtainable from the Build-A-Beast hero power combined with Carnivorous Cube to create an army of large Zombeasts. Another good use of the Build-A-Beast hero power is combining cards like Exploding Bloatbat with poisonous minions such as Stubborn Gastropod for a full clear and can be used with deathrattle triggers.

Budget Choices

Irreplaceable Cards: These cards cannot be removed without completely changing the deck so you must have these cards for the deck to work. Carnivorous Cube the namesake of the deck is integral to many of the combos and cannot be removed. Deathstalker Rexxar is the main bastion against control decks and lets you get good finishers against control. Savannah Highmane is one of the most powerful mid range cards in the entire game and is integral to most of the combo’s in the deck. Cobalt Scalebane is the only way in the deck to increase the attack of Devilsaur Egg and is very god against Razakus Priest (which will probably go away after the nerf. Play Dead is vital to activate the key deathrattle cards in the deck.

Replacements: potential cards that you can use to replace cards in the deck include Sated Threshadon can be used to replace Kathrena Winterwisp. Exploding Bloatbat and Candleshot can be used as early game control against aggro decks.
