Really love the deck!
Might want to include Kargal for for payoff & tempo.
Not sure about studies, zapper might be better (combo with landslide it’s 2+2 dmg AoE for 3 mana!) also lightning storm can be a consideration or second missiles
Thanks! Yeah considering Kargal, probably worth it, just that you have a lot of slow high mana cards like Primordial Protector & spell weaver already and I’m wondering how good summoning 2-3 vanilla 5/5s really is as they don’t have taunt or anything but worth testing.
So Studies is probably the best shaman card at the moment, the pool is so small and strong most of the time you will discover Zapper, which then becomes a 0 mana card meaning when your opponent plays a board for 2 mana you can play Zapper (overload) and play landslide dealing 4 aoe as early as turn 2. Other good discovers are Brukan, lady Vaj etc and the mana discount really helps for later plays.
Lightning storm still overloads 2 mana so.. I feel like there are better early aoe cards like chain lightning & Landslide. Second Missiles is probably a good shout
Good point, I did not realize that studies pool is way smaller. Only 8 minions Zapper/Phoenix/Vashj/Bru’kan in shaman and thalnos/kobold/mini-mage/steward in neutral.
So yes on average output is good!
Lightning storm on 3 overload for 2 but anyways there is no turn 4 in your deck appart from kazakus.
Yeah and all the shaman ones are good plus thalnos for a class that lacks card draw or even steward to discover spells if you need more value.
I don’t think you need lightning storm, it getting buffed to always do 3 I think still not good enough. on 3 you want to either play seprentshine portal or feral spirit and then on 4 you’re only overloaded 1 and either play another or marshpawn. You have access to great early board clears if needed that don’t overload, feral spirit is a better 3 cost spell summoning taunts and only overloading 1.
I think you only want 1x tidal wave because that means your Primordial protector is often drawing a c-thun piece which is probably what you want. With so much less burn damage in the meta you might not need as much healing, Kazakus golem can potentially generate lifesteal, Marshspawn can generate Tidal surge. To be honest if when testing I wanted more healing I’d probably cut Kazakus and run something like double tidal surge & a Mo’arg just so that protector still draws c-thun pieces.

take out 1x Marshpawn or Primordial studiees and put in 1x Tidal wave
