Keep in mind that Warlock is a pretty weak class right now, and there’s no stats to go along with this deck. I would only try this list out if you already have the cards for it!

Man, i really just think that doomguard is too aggro and there’s too many discards,. I just took them 2 off and replaced them with silverware golems

how’s this deck even supposed to work in this meta?
it loses against paladin, control mage, priest, rogue etc. and even the decks it is targeting such as aggro druid or pirate warrior are too fast often enough…

It’s not an easy deck to pilot. Lots of difficult decisions that can make or break a game, and when Tapping for more options is often a must-do, most wins come by the skin of your teeth. But the answers are usually there, even if they can sometimes be hard to zero in on. I’ve found this version of Handlock to be a bit more midrange-ish than other builds, so the point where you have to switch from controlling the board to hitting face comes a little earlier than you may be used to with other Handlock lists.

Looks very interesting and fun…. I’m trying to think of something to replace a card for the Warlock Quest and probably a little bit more Discard synergy…. I do fear however it will ruin the true strength of this Deck.

    Any suggestions?
I just feel the Warlock Quest is so bad, such a waste of a fun card. I keep trying to figure out a way to make it work.

I think if you really want to fit the Quest in you should try to cut the top end but the support for the quest is not there yet. I didnt try deck myself but i think its going to be much worse with the quest but go ahead

I’d skip the quest. It simply takes too long to complete and doesn’t provide enough impact even when you do finish it. The discard theme in this deck isn’t really all that prominent. It’s basically just Handlock with Lakkari Felhound to help with aggro, Doomguard to close out faster once you go on the offensive, Soulfire for removal or burst, and Malchezar’s Imp to sometimes mitigate the drawback of the previous cards.

In short, the discard cards are there for their aggressive costing, not to trigger synergy. Hence why Silverware Golem and Clutchmother Zavas are not in the deck. If those don’t make the cut even with 6 discard effects, there’s no point in even considering the quest.
