General Mulligans

I like to either have a 1-drop or Primalfin and an equip spell in the opening hand.

You don't have to play the Quest turn 1 unless you have a good turn 2 play. This allows your opponent to misinterpret your deck and hopefully win the mind games. Typically I'll play Argent Squire/Marshal turn-1, then the Quest + Adaptation etc. turn-2.

You can keep Barns/The Voraxx/Moroes in your opening hand to ensure good value turn-3/4 because statistically you will draw into the 1-cost spells.

Drawing into an early Devilsaur Egg is also nice because the opponent will often ignore it to prevent a 5/5 summon. This allows free equips and solid value/tempo after your opponent kills it.

This is a linear tempo/combo deck oriented around The Last Kaleidosaur

Obviously the goal of the deck is to equip your minions with spells to summon Galvadon to adapt 5 times and hopefully in the game.

Value

Primalfin Champion + any spells creates great card value with Primalfin’s deathrattle if it doesn’t get silenced/polymorphed/hex’d/sapped. Since these are common removals in standard it’s wise not to over commit.

The Voraxx + any spells is great for board tempo. Unfortunately the spell counter for the quest does not count twice for this ability. Equipping Silvermoon Portal creates 2, 2-cost minions.

Small-Time Recruits Deck thinning, I like running one of these because drawing into a one drop instead of a spell later in the game is crippling. Grabbing some  Meanstreet Marshal‘s with Adaptation/ Divine Strength is great tempo after already drawing 3 cards from your deck.

Overview

Argent Squire, Devilsaur Egg, Moroes, Barnes, are all “sticky” minions (divine shield/ deathrattle/ token generation) allowing board pressure and minions to cast your spells on.

Leeroy Jenkins +  Faceless Manipulator is a 10- mana 12 damage charge combo which typically presents lethal if you curved out with the deck. Leeroy Jenkins +Adaptation/ Blessing of Might/ Divine Strength/ Blessing of Kings/ Silvermoon Portal allow for extra damage for free the turn Leeroy Jenkins is played.

Wickerflame Burnbristle keeps you in the game after you lose the board to Lightning Storm and other board wipes.

Conclusion

I currently have an 80% win rate with this deck (in only 10 games lol) and have only lost to Taunt Warrior and a Quest Rogue. I really am looking for advice on how to improve this deck to combat the current meta. Originally I had Wild Pyromancers/ Equality/Doomsayer‘s but it was too slow.

I’d love any advice the Hearthstone community can provide, thanks!
