This deck is what I feel Beast druid will most likely end up looking like. I replaced some of the tools that most people consider “OP” for more reliable win conditions and card draw, which was desperately needed. I’ll talk about some of the choices so you can see the aim of this deck.

This card… considered OP by tons of people, I feel it’s not as good as it’s made out to be. Sure, it can provide huge tempo with the tiger, but you need to draw them at the required turns, be able to keep the board alive and then pray your opponent doesn’t have a way to punish your play, which will hardly ever be the case since control decks like Paladin or Warrior have tools like Equality or Brawl and Aggro decks will roll you over while you try to set-up. Overall, i feel relying on the Tiger-Warden combo is being a bit optimistic.

The version of the deck with 2 wardens also seems to lack tons of card draw, so I decided to change things up a bit.

Man I love the Drakes. Maybe that’s why I put them in every deck I can, but I feel they really fit in this deck. Card draw, spell damage, all provided by 5 mana. Which is a problem since with Tigers the 5 mana spot is full of cards. This, combined with what I stated above, is why I decided to cut the Tigers from the deck.

Since I’m running Drakes, why not use one of the new cool tools we got recently? The Curator offers reliable card draw in the form of Beasts (which the deck is full of) to renew my synergies and Drakes, which in turn draw a card themselves. Generally speaking it has always provided great value and I never felt like I was sacrificing that much to make room for him in the deck. At this point I looked at the available Murlocs to take full advantage of its battlecry and decided to include Sir Finley. Sir Finley provides this deck with a early game body that has synergy with many cards in the deck and that can help this list play more aggresive when needed, a saving grace against some matchups.

I’m running all these different tribes so I thought: “Why not?”. Zoobot is an amazing card in my experience, it reliably buffs at least one minion each time it comes into play, making it a 4/4 for 3 mana quite easily (in my experience). I’ve tested running only one copy but I generally have something on the board that would benefit from the buff and the 3-slot wasn’t that populated (plus, the Curator offers extra synergy by bringing to my hand the required minions as well) so I finally settled with 2 copies.
