Look for ramp against control and removal + armor against aggro. Simple as that. Surviving against aggro is, well, not that easy in this meta.

This deck contains 5 total minions, 4 of which are essential combo pieces, the other is a potentially game-winning tutor. If Jepetto lands Aviana then we could go off on turn 9 or 10 with aviana and Kun. The point here is that Jepetto would guarantee drawing essential combo pieces.

Built to have better Anti-Aggro potentials, dropped biology project because too risky against aggro decks. Not the perfect pick for the aggressive meta rn but still very winnable even against the fastest aggro decks in the format. One tip that I learned from losing to aggro is — ALWAYS go for the 12 armor when using branching path when facing aggro, and also don’t hesitate to use burn spells to answer high-risk minions in order to survive.

Revision 7/4/2020: The meta seems to have slowed down a bit as aggro players switch to different decks since other decks in the meta have adapted to counter them, namely odd DH and secret mage. Whenever we queue into several Priests in a row, it is our time to shine!

It also appears that we are favored against a top contender in this meta — cubelock. More cubelocks than zoolocks nowadays after the initial climbers have reached legend, now the meta has slowed down more significantly. Cubelock only beats us when they draw the weapon and doomguard + cubes. But when that happens you basically just lose no matter what deck you play(without weapon removal).
