Mulligans

Hey guys, back with another Hybrid deck for you to try!

This deck is pretty straight forward, buff up your C'Thun with early game minions like Beckoner of Evil, Disciple of C'Thun, Twilight Elder, C'Thun's Chosen, and Crazed Worshipper while using your board clears such as HellfireDemonwrath, and Shadowflame to help maintain control. Ideally you want to mulligan for some C'Thun buff cards to get your C'Thun to 10 attack before turn 7 for the amazing Twin Emperor Vek'lor. It won’t happen every game by turn 7 but when it does, the pay off is huge.

I have included Twilight Drake and Mountain Giant to help out with bad card draw and forced taps so it’s somewhat similar to a hand lock of sorts. If you happen to have these in your starting hand along with a board clear, you can try and build your hand up with life tap while your opponent floods the board making your board clear very effective. Also Iv’e included cards like Sunfury Protector and Defender of Argus to help protect our hp while we dig for Reno JacksonReno Jackson is what really gives our deck an edge on other decks because of the full heal paired with the 4/6 body, since our hero power uses our HP as a resource and our Hero power draws us a card, were more likely to see our Reno Jackson then most other Reno Jackson styled decks.

I also included Nexus-Champion Saraad for some extra card chances that could swing the game in your favor. He can come out ideally on turn 7 in case your Twin Emperor Vek'lor isn’t ready yet and to insure you get value out of him. Sometimes hes just good to throw out on turn 5 because our opponents almost always blow cards they wanted to save for our C'Thun because left alive, Nexus-Champion Saraad can pull A LOT of Value.

In the late game we have Siphon Soul to take care of anything big to protect our board from decks that like to play big minions. We also have Twisting Nether for when turns get completely out of hand such as a turn 10 N’Zoth play from our opponent. Of course we have our C'Thun to drop with a Doomcaller to bring him back so that we don’t have to worry about the opponents possible counter. Doomcaller is great to use on turn 8 even if you haven’t played your C'Thun because he can still give your C'Thun a much needed buff and hes a powerful minion stat wise that could potentially make our opponent waste some single target removal making are C'Thun that much better. Lastly we have Lord Jaraxxus as a powerful one last stand. Since this is pretty much a control deck, Lord Jaraxxus Is one of the best cards you could ask for for in late game control. His hero power alone can summon a 6/6 body every turn, which helps if you have run out of minions. He can somewhat also be played situationally for his 3/8 weapon or if you just need more hp for another turn as he sets your HP back to 15.

I also threw in a Jeweled Scarab and Dark Peddler that can get you some situational cards to use later. As well as a Doomguard for some possible sneaky early lethals. He can also be used as an act of desperation to buy you an extra turn if things just aren’t working out in your favor. Twilight Summoner was also a great addition I added to make our opponents think twice about using their own AoE’s and board clears since he summons a very powerful 5/5 minion in his place. Because of this, hes also one of the best candidates for a good Power Overwhelming or Power Overwhelming+Shadowflame combo. Speaking of Power Overwhelming the card is extremely valuable in this deck and is almost always the best option to pick from Dark Peddler. You can use Power Overwhelming on many different targets like Jeweled Scarab or the imps from Imp Gang Boss. Another sweet use of Power Overwhelming is if you just cleared the opponents board and they play a big minion on the follow up, you can play Sylvanas Windrunner and use Power Overwhelming on her to steal your opponents minion!

Not sure, there’s not really a card that comes anywhere near close in comparison. Could maybe place a decent taunt in his place. Either that or just stick in emperor Thaurison.
