General Mulligans
My basic strategy is to aim for a hand with Netherspite Historian with an additional dragon card. Twilight Drake is solid to keep. By the time turn 4 rolls around, you should have enough cards to allow it to be difficult to deal with. Based on what class you're playing against, Potion of Madness, Northshire Cleric, and Netherspite Historian are typically the strongest bets.
I’ve been experimenting with a variety of Priest decks. A quick search reminded me, Brian Kibler’s Dragon Priest deck was one of, if not the most, powerful at one time. This is an Un’Goro revision of the same deck. Some taunts, like Chillmaw, are replaced with Primordial Drake and Tortollan Shellraiser. Interestingly enough, Tortollan Shellraiser also doubles as a replacement for Dark Cultist. Furthermore, Power Word: Tentacles replaces Velen’s Chosen. In experimenting with the various Priest decks, the Control combo of Medivh and powerful high cost spells, I included Mind Control and Free From Amber.
Surprisingly, I’ve won more games than I’ve lost thus far. This is purely experimental, but I find the core of this deck to be pretty solid. Any suggestions or comments are welcomed, as this is my first deck uploaded to the site. I literally just registered on this site to upload this particular deck in hopes that my fellow Priests enjoy it as much as me. Much Love!
