Dear Community,

this is my first Deck I created by my own. I played it since the release of WotoG and changed it a view times until the current status. In my opinion rouge got a few pretty good cards such as Undercity Huckster or Shadowstrike, which are totaly insane in my opinion. In the following text I want to say why I included some of the cards which you dont see as very usefull or even underwhealmingly bad.

Journey Below: This card often creates an additional major threat, such as Anub Barak, or another addition to your early game, ae. another Huckster or even Xaril.

Earthen Ring Farseer and Cult Apothecary: The loss of Antique Healbot hits Rouges very hard, and so you need some healing. The best way for this are- in my opinion- using an Earthen and one Cult Apothecary (you can also use two Earthens and no Cult Apothecary if you want). Whenever your opponent has a huge board with small minions (mostly Aggro Decks) Cult Apothecary in combination with the next two cards i want to talk about is insane.

Fan of Knifes and Dark Iron Skulker:

Making Blade Furry unplayable (thx Blizzard), Rouges only have gotten a few AoE clears, such as Skulker and Fan. Fan is pretty good with Bloodmage and even played alone its nice.

Shadow Strike: I dont have to say much about this card, its maybe the reason why this deck works, because it is absoluetly insane, as said earlier.

Loothoarder:

You dont have that much carddraw, and so this is essential for not running out of cards.

The tentacle pirate which name I forgot (4 mana 4/4):

As you want to control the board in early and midgame, this gives you a huge atvantage for doing so. Its not only a 4/4, it also gives your weapon +2 attack, which helps you to not loose control and make some good trades.

Defender of Argus: Sludge Belcher is gone, and since you have a lot of sticky minions, this is pretty good and prevents aggro decks from doing work and even protects you in the lategame.

Big Game Hunter and Assassinate: Im not a big fan of sap, and as the meta slowed down, you need some removalsBGH is what i mostly save for C’ Thun and the Assassinates are used for stuff i cant deal with. If you are more happy with running sap instead, you can do so.

All in all this deck has some pretty good midrange tools and is able to control the board even in the early game, but N’ Zoth and mostly Journey Below make also the lategame insane. I mostly won with this deck, aggro has no chance against it, but i still loose some games against C’Thun Decks, just because this card and all the cards around it are totaly broken and have decent statlines. Its mostly the same: I have boardcontrol, Cancer Thun gets played and I have not drawn my BGH= gg. But this deck mostly does its job and wins you the games, and i also think its a very fun and fair one.
