This is another take on the Hemet + Holy Wrath + Molten Giant combo. For those who don’t know, the combo is I use Hemet’s battlecry to thin my deck down the key components: Holy Wrath and Molten Giant. As long as wrath isn’t my last card I get to use it and guaranteed blast my opponent for 25 damage. This is an aggressive shell that uses both the Pirate and the Murloc synergies. I want to draw as many cards as possible so I can get to my win con faster because if we get too far into the late game we have trouble keeping up. Obviously I haven’t been able to test this so suggestions/upvotes are much appreciated!

Hey! I’m running this deck right now, but I threw in a couple other giants as well and Malygos and Yogg. I mean, if we’re gonna meme, go hard right?

Will it deal 25 damage no matter what Molten Giant’s cost has been reduced to?

yes, Holy Wrath damages are based on original cost of the card.

This deck will fail to work. Let’s assume that you have your Holy wrath and one molten giant ( usual scenario, a good one would be to have only Hly wrath, and a really desavantaging one would be to draw both giant before Holy wrath). If you have 1 Holy wrath and 1 Molten in hand, you are no longer able to play Hemet, because you couldn’t play your Holy wrath and your next draw would be 100% Molten giant. If you already drew both of your molten giant you can’t play hemet because you would just discard you entire deck.

SO there is only one good situation : having your Holy wrath in you hand and no Molten giant when you use Hemet (having no Holy wrath and no Molten giant is acceptable)

So if you want to calculate the odds, you’ll see it is extremly inconsistent. So it would probably be better to add a second holywrath, and big late game minion such as Tirion, Rag, N’zoth etc.

Thanks! You are probably right I didn’t really look further than if i draw a holy wrath of off a holy wrath I’ll be sad.

Obviously if you draw both Giants before you can play Hemet and Holy Wrath, that combo is screwed. Otherwise it would work. Why would it make a difference if you draw 1 giant? You’d still auto draw the other giant which is all you need to win. The rest of the deck is aggro so you should easily have them at least down to 25 health. The only way it shouldn’t work is if you draw both Giants before you can combo.

Why only one holy wrath ?

Because when you Hemet I don’t want my Holy Wrath to fizzle and hit another holy wrath as I cry tears of salt and my opponent rides the RNGesus pony to victory
