This deck is for people who hate playing both death rattle rogue and highlander rogue. I don’t like praying on a star for on-curve necrium apothecary or playing Good Card Deck #26. All I play is rogue so I made a tempo rogue like the good old days
An important note about this deck is that in order to keep up with other powerful meta decks, this deck prides itself on being able to fill up its board and use its mana extremely efficiently. The rogue Galakrond hero power in that sense is used to its highest value because not only do lackeys act as crucial value generators but also high tempo plays that you will need to use often
Mulligan for 1 drops and 2 drops, your early board state and how well you control it will most times determine if you get stomped or not
Your midgame is quite strong due to your lackey generation, try to stay ahead and just wait for your powerspikes
The key to beating control decks is to constantly fight for board, especially against priest, if a control deck can claim board it’ll be hard for you to dictate much of the fight if that happens. You want them to board clear because presumably if you’re playing the deck right you’ll be able to refill. Rinse and Repeat and those control decks will have not developed much and be scrambling to break out of your stranglehold
Snip Snap + Zilliax = possibly the best two cards in the game which provide key and separate roles. Snip Snap is a high tempo play or board filler while zilliax acts one of rogue’s only sustain card. Quick note: Stacking up Snip Snaps with zilliax in your hand is one of the strongest plays because it forces your opponents hand
Exotic Mountseller = super underrated card, mainly used for board refill, goes great with Umbral Skulker
Flik Skyshiv = one of the most powerful cards in the game, use it carefully to either snipe troublesome cards or just board clear
Umbral Skulker – You can activate her consistently but only if you’re able to weave in invokes while controlling the board. Goes great on turn 10 with exotic mountseller or use her in the midgame to create a big edwin, really this card is actually quite good in the right deck
