Nothing to do with being cheap. They refunded Ara’lon twice after nerfing related cards, without batting an eye. Maestra is still probably a mainstay in Thief Rogue and very much playable, you just don’t put it in Miracle Rogue anymore, where it didn’t even make sense. The reason they nerfed Gnoll is because it was dumb for that card to consistently cost 0 in a deck that isn’t even interested in playing cards from other classes. It’s a very good nerf and it’s good that they didn’t touch Maestra, which is still a fun card for players who like to do wacky things.

It’s a neutral card, not DH. It’s Sir Finley. And because the hand is exchanged, the cards don’t count as being drawn (not just for the purpose of this quest, for anything that requires drawing). The same was true for the rogue spell that would replace your hand with 5 cards (nerfed down to 4) from your deck.

You have no idea what you’re talking about if you think there are “hundreds, if not thousands” of people working solely on Hearthstone. As someone who’s been working in game dev at half a dozen different companies, I’d estimate there are likely no more than about 40 to 60 working on a game like this. And if you think they’re not already working as hard as they can and aren’t passionate about making the game the best it can be, again, you don’t know anything about game development.

My favorite card of the set. I love its effect, I love the art and the idea of losing the arms. It’s just too bad about the missed opportunity on the flavor text. A minion that’s still fighting after losing both arms should clearly have flavor text that says “it’s just a flesh wound!” (if you don’t get the reference, look it up)

It’s not all positive, in fact during the full dust refund period, it’s all negative. It’s much better to get full dust so that you can craft the card you want rather than to get a random card that you’re unlikely to want and that you can’t get full dust from. Of course, outside of the full dust refund period, this new system is better than nothing at all, which is what we had until now.

No idea about the total number of players but there’s a very active community on discord and plenty of youtube content pretty much everyday.

This card is super OP in arena when played on turn 3. It’s hard to lose the game if not killed within a turn and with 5 health, that will be hard to do.

I wonder whether this might be playable in aggro DH. Definitely a premium arena card if nothing else.

Someone at Blizzard doesn’t know the difference in English between amount and number, which is embarrassing. If it’s countable, it should say number. Up to 8 clearly indicates a countable quantity, so this should say “with stats equal to the number spent”. This is at least the second time I see this mistake in Hearthstone, the other being in Mercenaries if I remember correctly.

You should always keep all copies of all the good cards that you own. There is no limit. I’ve often disenchanted over 20 copies of a single card, all at full cost.
