I’ve been playing a lot of quest rogue recently and I tested out both deck with/without cats and with sharks/muggers. Personally, I think decks with pilfer instead of cats are stronger just because of the fact that you’re not guaranteed to get a card from another class with the pharaoh cat. At this point, I’m not too sure which one’s better out of sharks and muggers but I’m leaning towards muggers just because of additional quest completion and tempo.
Also I think this deck has to run leeroy and shadowsteps for reach.

Most likely, yes. If they keep printing ‘callback’ cards throughout the year, I think everyone will start feeling over-nostalgic.

One problem I have with the design of this card it that Rafaam’s Scheme cannot scale infinitely as we’ve seen in the other schemes so far. It essentially stops upgrading after 7 turns when it reads “Summon 7 1/1 Imps”. Obviously summoning 8 or more imps is impossible.

This deck is even better than I orignally thought.
I was facing a mech hunter who banned naturalise and I was wondering how I could actually win.
With time, I realised, if I just kept dropping doomsayers while drawing cards with coldlight every turn, he couldn’t establish a board. On top of that, the 12 armor gain from branching paths each turn was also critical so that fatigue killed my opponent first 🙂

If you don’t have twig, u can replace it with prince taldaram or a faceless manipulator. But twig is generally optimal as it puts your opponent on a set timer and if he doesnt have an answer to the twig (weapon removal), its generally gg.

Boomship is quite good in late game as it can pull your baku, ysera and big mechs discovered from dr boom or omega assembly. But yes, ashmore is also a good replacement.
