I assume if I wait until after the expansion drops, then the legendary and packs will be from the new set, correct? (I have all the legendaries in the current standard.)

I’ve always felt that RNG gets a bad reputation because of hindsight bias. People are much more likely remember the times they were screwed by RNG rather than helped. In the long run, good luck and bad luck are equally distributed between all players. RNG is a zero sum event, for every time you lose to RNG you’ll win because of it another time. Obviously there are some cards that are too problematic, like the original Yogg, but overall, I think RNG card generation is a great skill tester. People with consistently high win rates are people who are open to the opportunities that RNG can create.

Without RNG we’d all just be playing chess and that gets boring.

I feel like the dragon push in this set does a very good job of adding competitive archetypes to the meta without pushing “answers” to current decks in the meta. The net result being a greater amount of diversity.

If I get the pre-order bundle now will I get access to the Battlegrounds beta or has that ship sailed?

While I agree that this is really good. I’m not totally sold on it. Best case you proc this on turn 5 and equip on turn 6. That means that all you did on turns 2-5 was play burgle minions and that’s not a great way to start out the game.

I think those is one of the better arts in the set so far.

1/5 since the creature doesn’t have a pompadour.

Taunt is the only reason this might be playable.
