In the initial announcement, they’ve said that the update is coming next (so this) week, not that they’re going to announce it then. So if their wording was indeed correct, we should expect a patch by Friday. At least I very much hope so.

Oh wow, I just read your comment. Sorry that you feel this way, but I think that you’re missing the main point.

This is a BUDGET deck. Using only Common & Rare cards. Most of players have lots of those cards already, so the entire crafting cost of the deck is a few hundred Dust. It’s meant for players who don’t own Epics & Legendaries that are used to build the full deck, want to test it out before committing to the full build, or are new players without big collections yet.

Yes, the deck is “bad”, but so is every budget deck. You can’t build an amazing deck without using any Epics or Legendaries. I build budget decks for every single class every expansion. And it’s simply the best option available to Priest. Unless you have another one – then I’ll be happy to see it.

I’ve playtested each of those decks and it actually worked okay during that time. It was one of the best budget decks, in fact. I even got a bunch of wins against full-fledged meta decks in Legend. But it’s also not the easiest deck to play, especially if you are running a weaker deck than your opponent (because you lack Epics / Legendaries) – then you have to win by outsmarting them and just playing better than they are.

Not true, J_Alexander has just hit #2 Legend with a different Anubisath Rogue build.

Mark my words – Necrium Apothecary is probably the most broken SINGLE card from the expansion and it’s not talked about just because Galakrond Shaman is even more broken (but that’s because the whole Galakrond package is just crazy). If it doesn’t get hit by the nerf patch, people will complain about it in a week. Not sure if Anubisath version is better or maybe Whelp version will be played more after all, but Rogue is really strong.

We’ll be making deck guides after the patch 🙂 Wanted to start this weekend, but don’t want to commit resources to something that might be useless in a few days.

From my own experience + after watching lots of high MMR players it’s pretty clear that Murlocs are a bit too strong. I’m not THAT high (around 7k rating) but people there try to force Murlocs all the time, to the point that most of the best cards disappear from the pool very quickly 😀 So funnily enough, Murlocs are so good that it might often be better to go for a different strat just because the best Murloc cards are contested because of shared card pools.

Moving Coldlight Seer to T2 really made their early game so much better (getting a few Murlocs + buffing them all with +2 Health is crazy good), while Primalfin and Bagurgle let them stack more stats in the mid/late game. Getting an early Brann was basically a GG because of that. All you needed to do is survive, then get Megasaur for Divine Shield + Poisonous and basically no one could beat that. Before the buffs/Bagurgle, it was also an amazing late game strategy, but most of the Murloc players died before they could get that far :p

Yeah, the new solo content is coming in January, but we don’t know the exact date or anything about pricing yet. Where did you hear that by the way?

I actually think that it’s cool that we’ll get more cards in the middle of expansion, but only a little over a month after expansion might be too early. I think that 2 months would be perfect. We’ll see how it works, it’s cool that they’re willing to experiment.

Murlocs were the strongest tribe after the latest wave of buffs + release of Bagurgle, they really had to nerf something to put them back in line.

Are you talking about Wild? Because C’Thun is not a card available in Standard, and this is a Standard Tier List.

I’m not really familiar with how Wild meta looks like or which decks are strong there, but I haven’t heard anything about C’Thun Rogue being strong.

Have you further tested it? Did you see any other Classic recipes? Maybe only that one was added by mistake or something?

I would test it but I’m just swamped with other work right now :/

Hey, sorry for not replying, I didn’t look at the comments here earlier. Yes, the cards have already rotated out, but we didn’t want to update the meta tier list for 5 days between Wild cards rotation and a new expansion. We just made an early update.

Weird, maybe they have changed it. It never gave classic decks before.

Deck recipes were updated for Descent of Dragons expansion!

Going with the stats and my experience so far, Treant Druid looks pretty average right now.
