It’s a bit hard to find the right balance when it comes to ads. If you don’t make them “annoying” enough then they don’t pay almost anything, and if you do make them too annoying then people get sick of them and start using another site. That’s why our devs have been experimenting with different ad styles over the last year or so.

I think so, they didn’t rotate it, they just added a new set, so there was no reason to reset the current decks.

You do have a point, it might be a bit better in Dragon Ramp Druid than I thought, but I still think that I’d rather play other cards in that deck 🙂

I don’t think you want to put it in Ramp deck. Your main weakness as a Ramp deck are Aggro decks that take advantage of you first few turns where you just ramp and do nothing else. So you’d rather play a defensive minion (like Evasive Drakonid) and not a sticky threat (which is good vs Control, and Control matchups are already in your favor in general).

As for the Ysera part – yes, but I rate cards based on how good they are when you put them into your deck, not when you get them randomly. Although I should have mentioned Ysera and other Dragon generators like Dragonqueen Alexstrasza!

Me too, it should always be a thing 🙂 It would also encourage people to play more during the last season, which is not a bad deal for Blizzard.

What’s wrong with having Aggro decks in the meta?

Like, I get it if someone prefers Control, but a super slow meta when every match lasts for 30+ minutes would be super annoying. Aggro keeps Control in check so they can’t get too greedy. Having some representation of every general archetype (Aggro, Midrange, Control, Combo) is always most healthy.

Yes, but on the other hand, you finish your Quest a lot faster so you can start digging for 0 mana cards quicker. Is it worth the possible dead draws from HP in the late game? We won’t know until we try 🙂

If you’re serious, then you should definitely apply. I don’t know if they’re hiring for any of those positions right now, but they definitely will at one point.

And yeah, I was thinking about applying a few times myself (for the designer position), but I live on the other side of the globe 🙁

What Mage deck are you playing? Because Combustion and Firebrand seem to be solid cards to slow down Aggro by clearing their early boards.

Yeah, like I’ve mentioned in the post, DH is missing for some reason. Maybe it will get added to the pool before the decks are released or something.

You can’t really count Galakrond, because it’s free. But yeah, it’s still 3x good Legendary. However, two of those are Rogue, so it’s best if you play the class a lot.

The card has leaked earlier and was translated, now it’s official. That’s why the name has changed.

Many of the revealed cards don’t have an English translation so we have to find others translating it / do it ourselves through a translator (if it’s something like one keyword).

But effects are generally simpler to translate than names, that’s why many people aren’t even trying to do it. That’s why we sometimes add cards with wrong names or placeholder names, and then update once we know the translation (like right now).
