I’d say there isn’t; if you’re in Lich Queen mode, the amount of heal could be huge, plus it’s great for board control. Maybe Lich King or Elise, but don’t expect the same results

Exactly. I hate pirates, don’t have Patches and never gonna craft it. These are my modifications:
– Greenskin
– Dread Corsair x2
– Patches
+ The Curator
+ Spikeridged Steed x1
+ Stonehill Defender x2

I don’t want to craft Patches, so the Southsea Captains are useless. Do you think the deck is still viable? If so, which cards do you suggest?

What’s the point of mana bind instead of second Ice Block?

It’s actually RNG-dependable; if your opponent doesn’t have too much high cost cards, you’re screwed. The only time I lost while playing Higlander Priest, was exactly for this reason.

Why though; exactly because a lot of decks are control, you’re likely to get nice stuff. If aggro deck were too frequent, that would definitely suck. Most times I get DK Hero Cards, Lich King, Innervate etc. Sure, you could get weak stuff, that’s how RNG works. But with courier…I don’t know, a lot of Warlock spells are garbage except Netherspite.

Glimmerroot has a far better body, and it’s good most of the times. I’ve managed to steal other DK Heroes a discrete amount of times. Against mirror, it’s plain miracolous.

I’d just remove Medivh (far too greedy) and loot hoarder (too slow, you already have Acolyte of Pain) for Lich King and Obsidian Statue. I’m a bit troubled with this deck; no N’zoth means you’ll lose almost every late game situation.

What’s the win condition here? Also, no Ragnaros?

In addition to that, having 4 attack means it’s perfect against other priests. If you’re playing N’zoth, you have to play Cairne

There’s not a single Paladin deck which doesn’t benefit from Tirion. I don’t think Lich King and Uther are overkill, especially in this slow new meta. I’m playing a similar deck with great results…changes I made:
– Finja
– Grimscale Chum x2

+ Uther of the Ebon Blade
+ Primordial Drake x1
+ Lich King

Oh man, why the hell you’d spend so much dust on a single deck? That said, I run a similar list, and I’m currently at rank 7.

Replacement for The Black Knight?

It’s a Death Knight worked completely around Evolve mechanic. Is this even a proper question?

Probably not. Monsanto is a pro player who dedicates 5+ hours per day to the game, I don’t doubt he got to Legend with this. Considering some of the low cost spells, I’d say this deck is more focused on the combo. I personally use N’zoth, Lich King, Skulking Geist (Jade Counter) and other stuff.
