Dragon Big Spell Paladin
I was thinking about it. However there are quite a lot of 1 health tokens in the meta right now so Dragonmaw Scorcher does solid job at removing them. I would be probably more inclined to some extra card draw/healing (like Flash of Light for instance).
As for Barista Lynchen, she is nuts in the deck. Against warriors she is used mostly for Dragon Speakers, whereas in other matchups she proved quite versatile, usually for extra removal.
Master Cloner Priest ft. Zerek & Recurring Villain
Yeah, second Vivid Nightmare might be calling for trouble against aggro decks. I tried Shadowy Figure in my version and it worked ok-ish, but the deck has too few deathrattles for it to be consistent enough (Recurring Villain doesn’t really count since 2/2 minion won’t resummon itself). Hence I removed it.
As for Da Undatakah, you can go infinite at 10 mana by casting Seance on it. It needs to get Test Subject’s deathrattle tough so that when he dies, you get Seance back and can be replayed next turn. Warrios can’t really deal with it. However, it is very slow card and I would assume Dead Ringer version is better against aggro since it represents early body and tutors other key minions.

Nice deck ๐ How has it been working for you? I am playing slightly different version of the deck with quite a lot of success. Main difference is that I removed dead ringers for Da Undatakah so that I can go infinite against warriors.
Rise of Shadows Post-Nerf Decks - Hearthstone Pro & Streamer Deck Lists For All Classes
He was referring to nerfed legendary cards, AKA Elysiana. You get full dust cost when disenchanting nerfed cards, so he is correct.
Mecha'thun Shaman - Rise of Shadows - #6 Legend (Dog)
We are not speaking about climbing to legend, but about climbing to high legend ranks, two completely different stories. The deck might not be the easiest or best to play, but saying it is a horrible deck is ignorant. It is simply control shaman shell with added mecha’thun win condition and control shaman has some pluses in the current meta.
Mecha'thun Shaman - Rise of Shadows - #6 Legend (Dog)
Voodoo doll->zap is to kill your mecha’thun, which is enabled with jepetto, if he hits either of them or with 3x galvanizer (1x is from shudderwock).
The fact that dog climbed to high legend speaks for the deck itself.
Miracle Priest - Rise of Shadows - #7 Legend (matsup)
Definitely a pilot problem. It is one of (if not the most) the hardest decks to pilot properly in the current meta. There are so many decisions where less skilled players can easily go wrong. There are decisions when to go all in for a draw, when to play defensively, how many resources you spend etc. In addition, some of the turns are really fast so you don’t have much time to think everything trough. I noticed so many mistakes people are making by just watching few players play it or even facing it on ladder.

2x daring fire-eater and Jan’alai.

Kibler’s list is more control oriented, more packed with spells and thus better against rogues, zoo, or murlocs. As result it is less efficient against warrior and other more control oriented decks. Which one is better, depends on the decks you are facing. I for instance managed to easily climb to legend with my modified dragon version of the deck with around 80% winrate, facing mostly warriors, rogues, token druids and few mech hunters.
Also, I would almost call Kibler’s deck a different archetype, closer to freeze mage with conjuration package.

I love this deck. However, I did make few changes to most popular lists and saw my winrate drastically improve. Since the weapons are not main issue of the deck I decided to cut 2 oozes and astromancer for Janalai package to fight deck’s biggest weakness: aggressive decks. Dealing 3 damage in the early game helps a lot against early Staladris, murlocs, zoo or rogues with a lot of 3 health minions. Secondly, as much as I see the logic in mct, I am running messenger raven instead. Similarly to witchdoctor it doesn’t reduce number of cards in your hand (for giants and drakes) and enables some trading. In addition, there were quite few moments when I managed to discover useful cards like 2nd kalecgos or khadgar against warrior and spirit of the dragonhawk against zoo and token druid.
Standout Rise of Shadows Decks From Day 1
Interesting approach. I ended up cutting voodoo dolls as well, but I kept dooms ayers and added mossy horror and curse of weakness. I also cut Hakkar since against aggro he is too slow and control decks I faced mainly had Elysiana to counter it anyway. So to counter theirs, I added Elysiana of my own. I am very pleased my latest version: I am 9/3 with it.
Standout Rise of Shadows Decks From Day 1
I agree. Based on my experience, plot twist control warlock feels really solid against most of above mentioned decks. And on top of it, it’s really fun to play.
Rise of Shadows Hearthstone Expansion Guide! Release Date, Card Spoilers, Pre-Purchase Info, New Mechanics And More!
You are probably right. I completely forgot about Barista and mountseller. Should be obvious to me since there were only 4 neutral legendaries.
Rise of Shadows Hearthstone Expansion Guide! Release Date, Card Spoilers, Pre-Purchase Info, New Mechanics And More!
Shouldn’t there be supposedly 135 cards in total? If I counted correctly, there are 133 listed: 90 class cards + 43 neutral cards. I suppose Zayle’s cloak is another card, which makes me wonder what’s with last 1 card?
The Boom Reaver
Was hoping for some more flavorful and more impacting 2nd warrior legendary, hopefully related to dragons or armor. As stand alone card is not impressive at all. It can and probably will see play however via omega assembly and Dr. boom hero power.
Barista Lynchen
Actually I do. Voone is quite a solid card and I had quite some success with it. The problem was that baku hero power is so much better that you couldn’t run in it baku dragon warrior deck. I am quite certain we will see more of it once the rotation comes and new expension experiments wear off.
Barista Lynchen
And why would you play this in wild over grumble who gives you a 1 mana copies so you can chain those shudderwocks? I really don’t understand the hype.
Card is solid, has potential, but will more often than not be just more expensive zola (which is rotating).
Archivist Elysiana
Darkness will be wild only anyway. It’s true tough that warriors bombs are slowly becoming less and less efficient.
Thx, I appreciate it.
