I feel so blessed that Alliance bannerman was buffed! Paladin is back on the menu, boys! Oh, and that extra spell for the first stage of the quest will surely make things so much difficult for raza hunter. Not to mention that mage will finally stop freezing the board every turn now that nightcloak sanctum was so heavily nerfed! We’re saved!!!

P.S.: With druid out of the picture, we will no longer have to fear for those late game Brann/Denathrius shenanigans, right?

Sad times for the BGs players. Loved the article, though! I truly hope the backlash is enough to make them rethink locking the additional heroes behind a paywall.

It took them 3 years but they finally figured out how to force players to pay real money in order to have the same chances for success with everybody else (two additional heroes). Nice job, blizzard…

Kael’thas? Denathrius? Impending catastrophe? Guff? None of these got nerfed and at the same time, they decided to buff rogue’s card draw ability? What were they thinking?

I understand the last part and it makes a lot of sense (suspension part). I guess what puzzles me the most is the timing, since we’re talking about a case that took place almost 3 years ago and it’s not like Orange got away with it or something. Why now? Did someone tip them off or did they already know about it and decided to pull the trigger on a specific time, e.g. a few days after his tournament?

I’ve been struggling to understand a few things about this story. Orange committed a crime (S.A.) four years ago. He was convicted by a court of law 3 years ago. Blizzard finds out now and suspends him from competitive play. Question 1: Was Orange supposed to go public with this in the first place? Q.2: Was the victim also from the HS or other e-sports competitive scene? Q.3: How did Blizzard find out and who leaked the trial documents? Q.4: Is every streamer all of a sudden some kind of role model or influencer and therefore can do no wrong?

Omg, these guys are muppets! I was being ironic when I replied to Dean about nerfing stealer to 5 mana and they literally nerfed it one mana more. It’s the QUEST you buffoons, the problem is the QUEST!!! You can’t have fatique as a wincon!!!

So far, so… bad. Even though it’s early to tell, I don’t see any cards/tools to disrupt Uther’s ladder domination.

Let me get that right because I’m a F2P player too. Let’s say you collect 100 gold per day (60 g. from quests on average and 40 g. from 12 wins) because you play 60-90 mins per day. That means 1 pack per day or 30 packs per month or 120 packs during the four month period between expansions. How on earth did you manage to collect 30.000 g. to open 300 packs??????

These changes are surely a step towards the right path, but in order to make the game more player – friendly they need to alter that archaic crafting system asap.

It’s been a good number of months where my friendlist is playing tricks on me everytime I try to challenge someone or spectate a friend. I know that modern era hs requires some good apm skills, but this is just too much! ????????

I totally agree with the article’s general idea and while “created by” cards can be frustrating (especially when e.g. tempo mage can play 30-40 of them during a game), Solarian prime or Reno’s hero power is on a whole new level of randomness! These cards are bad for the game, as was Yogg Saron etc.

Oh, great, just keep looking at Kael’thas and druid in general, maybe the data will show you sth other than how oppressive and silly their combos are…

I don’t want Druid to be nerfed, I just want from team5 media dpt. to explain the thought process behind overgrowth, lightning bloom, guardian animals and survival of the fittest and their coexistence in a single deck. A few devs’ names made public would be a good idea, too.
