A late reply on my side but in the video, it was shown as if it worked like ‘all or nothing’ … if it works the way you said, the card’s quality improves by a lot.

I strongly dislike the way this expansion tells players how to build their decks – even more than any expansion before.

Mage with the skeletons, Demon Hunter with the Relics …

Problem with that (besides 0 creativity) is that either the new ‘mechanics’ are to strong (= everybody just plays those) or not (= the new expansion is a big failure design-wise).

NM, just saw it in the video … it seems that this card’s effect is pretty bad then, depending on how ‘likely’ the shown cards are.

So yeah, Spider Tank with a niche effect. I don’t think this is good enough for modern day HS.

I’m not sure if this comparisson is reasonable. Most of the time, you’re not running 1 copy of a card because of ‘deck space’ but because those are more niche cards that you don’t want to draw as consistantly as you would with 2 copies.

And comparing 2 copies in 30 cards with 2 copies in 40, chances are significantly higher the less cards your deck has.

That said, I love the card and hope there will be a playable deck for it. Reminds me of ‘Battle of Wits’ for MtG.

Even more specific, the power level depends on the quality of 5-drops that are available in the format this is played. If those are mostly bad, then the chance to get more copies of bad cards makes this card bad.

Regarding the support, this expansion alone already delivered 2 cards.

As I wrote – I get that they answer questions, but aren’t there lots of ‘newer’ card designs that he could’ve mentioned? Why such an old card? I tend to believe there’s some hidden message there. 😀

Chose Halus Sunwatcher as the Sidekick and Challenge 10 is unbeatable!? I’m in my 20th attempt and the cards you get (always the same) cannot beat the Murloc. I’ve tried all combinations, mulligans, whatever. Unbeatable.

I really don’t want to restart because that Ozumat battle already p***ed me off … any ideas? Can’t find a walkthrough for Halus Sunwatcher, also. *shrug*

I don’t think so because technically, it’s the same spell (Quest reads ‘deal damage with two spells’).

But just like the question if it’ll repeat more than once, we will have to wait and see to be sure. 😉
