wasted about nearly half of my cards collections into dust to create Handlock Galakrond and Malylock
(there goes about near 5000 dusts)

If this is Nov 2019, then Doom in Tomb Evolve Shaman meta still in play, which could have significant impact on leaderboard.
or, somehow, the number of Hearthstone player count has risen high enough to raise the leaderboard percentage.

sadly, no data to support my assumption regarding total player count.
the only real data from googling is from Nov 2018 which is 100 Million Player Count.
Surely, it’s higher now.

I think I can safely assume they had a hard time bringing Dragons into battlegrounds.
Looking at how Dragons work, their Battlecries, their unique effects, big body that doesn’t fit lower tiers, and lastly synergies (although a few other minions already can buff dragons).

All I can say is this. Dragons is not fit for Battleground.
I would say they need to create much smaller new Dragon cards that fit for Battleground, and finally that would complete this year of Dragon theme.

I find Barista and Scions combo is pretty good. once you invoked twice, it’s only a matter of time to flood the board with scion of ruins. Barista itself can copy 3 Scions in one turn and basically its game.

other than that. Pirate Warrior can go to sleep. To be honest, I had so many losses since the pirates doesn’t really have tempo, and quite low synergies. Only a mere 1 win out of 7 matches.
But since this article is made for Galakrond Warrior, yeah.. no more Pirate.

I can see that this article will take up so much time to be done. From the ever-changing meta, to whether the old build style still work or not.

So everytime the meta changes, you actually need to catch up with the newest changes, while also paying attention to how the ladder goes.

anyhow, I think Sylvanas is not in her rightful place. Because you can actually keep 6 of the best minions (at later stage), and keep double buffing those 6 minions with 1 buffer minion, plus sell that 1 minion. Please reconsider moving her to the 3rd. (and drop ragnaros to 4th tier LOL. His power is so random it doesn’t work that good)

this is one festival which doesn’t feel like a festival at all.

congrats blizzard. making a record nerf patch even beating the Rastakhan.
At this time, I’m not even surprised about the little nerfs they have for Shaman.
I’ve got 2 reasons.
1. Too many nerfs can cause unbalance throughout the expansions, and we still haven’t unlocked every build yet.
2. It might’ve have something to do with those 35 incoming cards in January. We still don’t know how it gonna work, perhaps, more invoke cards, more synergy, etc. Shaman may be the only one right now, but only until January Solo Expansion. And again, too many nerfs can cause improper build later on.

I’ve tried it and warrior doesn’t have enough health to control the board.

Even Dr.Boom without dragons (pure mechs) is still better to control with steady armor gain, but it still lost it’s tempo with Shaman and Rogue. 2 to 10 wins only, and this is even without platebreaker.
(Imma try to wait for the nerfs before trying again).

But thanks to Pirate Warrior, I’ve found myself on higher ranks (level 2).
and boy does this place have so much pro players. (even drop to level 5 again)

IMO it’s not only about turns, and tempo, but overall strength of shaman cards.
the power level of shaman invoke cards is more than it should.
like 3/3 body invoke twice (2 x 2/1 rush) is not equal to 5 mana.
or the fact that his galakrond battlecry of summoning 2 x 8/8 rush is obviously should be more than 7 mana. and that is without quest.

actually no, even Priest and Rogue will envy Shaman as well because their invoke doesn’t put minions on board.
So the actual board control is easily achieved by Shaman and Warlock only (the latter is losing in term of rush).

so yeah. Shaman is getting nerfed is actually better.
but what about all those cards I crafted? I just burned like 5000 dust just to get full shaman decks. (Quest, Epic Spells, etc.)

I envy Shaman because it’s invoke actually put minion on board and give them rush, rather than drawing them to hand and give them buffs. In terms of tempo, Warrior loses so badly.

(I am actually talking about warrior and shaman only, haven’t got the deck to try out other galakrond)
